Great for repairing dips and chips to make siding look even before painting
I've gone through several tubs of this while repainting my siding. Highly recommended to cover and level out areas. Easy to work with, dries up well, easy to sand.

This is the best patch
I love this stuff. It goes on easily and dries quickly. I have had success using it as a skim coat to kill the grain on wooden doors and also as a filler for larger holes and cracks. Once it dries, it's hard and water resistant. This is important because after the skim coat is dry, I want to give it a fine sand and use a damp cloth to remove the dust. Some patch compounds are water soluble, which makes the damp cloth a bit of a problem. I have not experienced shrinkage. However, for nail holes and cracks, I wait about five or ten minutes after I apply it and sand it smooth. If I wait too long, it gets much harder and is more difficult to sand.

This is a great product for patching a variety of materials. Make sure you put the lid on tightly once you open it otherwise the product will dry out and become hard and unusable.

Easy way to patch big holes
This Platinum patch works wonderfully. Easy to apply. Dries well and reasonable quickly. Can sand easily. Paint applied adheres well. Would definitely buy again.

Patched my Hardie very nicely.
I had a bruise in my Hardie board after a tropical storm whacked my wall. This filled it in nicely.

Great Product
Used to patch a spot in my Hardy siding that fixed a leak that was going into my garage when it rained. This stuff is excellent and worked better then I was expecting! Would Highly Recommend!

Excellent product
Makes the expression “The secret to being a successful contractor is the ability to effectively conceal one’s mistakes” a truism. Have successfully used this product to repair severely weathered fascia with excellent weatherproof results. Mouldable, sand-able, paintable, nearly indestructible.
