I’ve worked in the fitness industry for over two decades and couldn’t get to the gym as often as I would like to since I moved into management. I owned a similar product to this years ago but I’m 6’3 and about 230lbs so I got about 5 pull ups before it destroyed my door frame. This design is awesome though. It allows me to extend all the way down and holds my weight without causing any damage. I live that it folds up too, it slides in under the couch so it’s never in the way. I’m hoping they add a strap and handle system to it at some stage. Shipping was super fast even though it wasn’t prime and the product is really good quality. Thanks again!

This product is awesome.\I'm fairly tall, and the Shamrock bar is higher than regular pull-up systems by about 4-6" (being level with the doorframe that it's mounted on). This makes a big difference for my workouts, so I can get a larger vertical range of motion.Bonus: The lower bar also allows for inverted crunches (by hanging your knees over it).Overall would highly recommend this product over the typical pull-up systems you could buy at a Target.Haven't had a chance to travel with it yet, but I could see its portability being helpful if I'm going to be traveling somewhere and staying at one hotel/Airbnb for a while! Might help avoid finding a gym at my destination.

I wanted a pull up bar that could be attached to a doorframe and could also be stored / moved easily. This pull up bar does exactly that and has additional benefits. The pull up bar folds flat, but it also comes apart into two pieces at the center. So this can fit inside a carry on if you feeling ambitious while traveling. The pull up bar feels very sturdy and I attached loop straps so I can attach rings / handles easily for dips and hanging rows.I knew this pull up bar required door trim when I ordered it and my current door does not have trim. This is not a big deal as you can get three nails and a small board at Home Depot for cheap and create you own trim if you need it. The pull up bar is easy to remove and store if you need it out of the way.The pull up bar itself sits a few inches away from the wall. So its nice that you can do a pull up and have space for your head to go over the bar and not have to hit your forehead on a wall. Even with dips and rows because it is offset from the doorframe your shoulders / elbows / hands don't have to hit the doorframe during the exercise.What is also a plus about this pull up bar is that the foam pads are white. Most walls are white and this won't leave any marks in the middle of the door. I am extremely satisfied with this product. It is a fantastic design and has a buy it for life type of quality to it.

Just received the item. the two halves are rusted, look old, and will not fit one another!! The locking mechanism that hold the two pieces together does not work and the entire thing is very flimsy!! I definitely would not trust putting my weight on it, seeing how flimsy it is!!!Update: Seller does not respond to communications!! It's been over 4 months now and I still have no word from the seller. I'm left with a broken item and basically feel cheated out of my $60!

This is much better than the junky ones I've used in the past. I didn't have to put it together, just pulled the prongs out and hung it over a door. You have to have a door. I only weight 165 pounds but it seems sturdy. You have to have good trim around your door frame but most houses do.

This fits perfectly for my door and was super easy to mount. It's also really easy to take down and put away since it folds up flat. The foam rollers are also great, preventing any nicks on my frame!

I liked the mobility of this pull up bar. It’s sturdy, doesn’t damage the door frame, and allows for a solid workout wherever I go whenever I need. Really convenient.
