When ordering button covers, I learned the hard way. Only upon receipt did we realize you only get a measly two shirt buttons with most of the other brands. That makes no sense to me. What kind of dress shirt has just two buttons showing? Also, the other brand was poorly machined with a broken clasp. This set for Menz gives you five button covers so you indeed are COVERED! Two more large ones for sleeves are included, too. Thus, what seems like a high price at first is more than fair.I also settled on Menz because these are advertised as slightly less wide at .5” than most of the others which are advertised at either .67” or .6”. in the reality, these .6” and I do feel mislead. On the upside, the look AOK—no button covers will emulate the exact look of a tuxedo shirt with much smaller black buttons. If you dress for formal occasions often, I recommend seeking button covers in both black and harder to find pearl to keep in your repertoire. Keep it classy San Diego!

These button covers work just as described. I have a custom-made white shirt that I want to use instead of a ruffled tuxedo shirt. When I add these black button covers, they make the shirt look like it is supposed to be worn with a tux. The only thing I did not realize is that you have to button the shirt first and then add the button covers. Once the covers are on the buttons, the won't fit through the button holes. That makes it difficult to get dressed and even more difficult to take the shirt off because you have to catch the little clasp just right to open it. I wish the package came with a couple of spare covers because I know I am going to either break one or lose one.

It’s a button cover up. It has to be slightly bigger then the original button. If you can live with that then it’s worth buying.

Button covers go on easily and look good but not too easy to get off. If you pry the backs they bend. Had to cut off one button and then remove the cover just to get the shirt off.

Just noticed that I was shorted a button cover. I ordered two sets and both came with 4 little covers and 2 big.

These are great looking and easy to put on for that special occasion. If you want to look good and do not have a Tuxedo shirt then these are a must have. In my profession these are great to have for that last minute change of clothes.

Looked great without having stud backs on my chest or the weird folded cuff of a French cuff. If you are wearing no cumberbund you will need 5 or 6 so get 2 sets.
