Budget BuckyTM Skeleton (4th Quality) CH10D4

As many of the other reviews point out, this is not a high-quality item, but then again it's not advertised as such. I received exactly what I ordered - a fourth quality not-for-educational use plastic life-sized skeleton. It arrived with a broken collar bone and a few screws loose or missing, but I was able to tighten the loose screws without a problem. While moving the skeleton, it's easy for all the hardware to loosen, so you have to be diligent about tightening the screws to make sure bones don't fall off. The plastic is OK, albeit discolored and has some sharp edges from the mold, but it held together mostly. The only real problem I had was one of the leg bone screwholes was too close to the edge of the hipbone and the plastic on the hipbone broke, leaving me with a fractured hip.My purpose was to use this item as a prop in my photography, and it was perfect for that purpose. Carrying the item was not easy as it's pretty heavy (as others have said) and gets heavier the longer you carry it. Also, the edges of the bones are pretty sharp and dig into your flesh. But, depending on what you're intentions are, it's a good buy for the money. I would've loved to have had a real medical-use skeleton, but I couldn't justify spending the money when it was only going to be a photo prop.

I bought the skeleton as a visual model for a research paper that I had written. What I really wanted was something that I could show the bones and the joints (my research was on arthritis) this skeleton really did the job. The only thing that I did not like was that it did not come with a stand, but it does state that when you buy it. Everything was intact when I recieved it, you only had to screw in the legs when you took it out. Overall it was pretty great, definitely a smart buy if you are using for Halloween, model, or if you are in med school

This is a good quality skeleton. It has some flaws, but that's to be expected at this price. For the price it's outstanding. The only thing I really dislike is the (noticeably) fake looking teeth in the head. I used this for a display and in order to get it to look real, it took many hours with sandpaper and a Dremel tool working on the teeth to give them a real look.

I wanted an inexpensive yet quality skeleton for a Halloween project. After reading some of the reviews I was sceptical about purchasing one of these 4th quality skeletons. Much to my surprise, it exceeded my expectations. It is indeed 4th quality in that there are broken ribs and color imperfections throughout. There were unfinished edges from the molds the plastic bones were cast from. It was packaged well and all of the hardware was present with some minor assembly. Nothing like the reviews posted. If you want top quality, say for anatomical study, pay top price. If you are looking for something as a decoration or stage prop, this is it.

I am very impressed. For a 4th quality skeleton there was not much wrong with it that a few minutes with some epoxy didn't fix. Mend a few cracked ribs from shipping and screw on the legs and voila! Instant skeleton hanging in my garage! My neighbors already think I'm nuts for living for Halloween every year, and now they'll be convinced of it. I highly recommend this for anyone as into halloween as me or anyone that just likes to have skeletons hanging around!

This is the best skeleton for Halloween decorating. Very realistic. However a little heavy. Really a great product.I took my buckey and rubbed on some gell stain and then wiped it off before it dried. It had a great effect making it lookold and a scary. You can even cover it with stockings and liquid latex tare the stockings spread on some latex andafter it dries spread on a gell stain. It will make it look like a real corpse.

Although I expected the product, being 4th quality, to have minor defects, there were numerous defects, including a defective fitting of a thigh bone into the pelvic bone. It was an effort simply to position the skeleton in a sitting position on a bench.

It shouldn't be called 4th quality it should be called 4 ft. Not even close to life size. My pose n stay from spirit is taller. The feet and hands don't articulate either. This picture is from the skeleton store online and theirs is 5'6 life size.
