Needs to be prepared washed heated to dry completely then oiled, and bake to seal in. Then continue to prime pan at each use. Will last years.

Worth it!
This fits perfectly on a hotpoint gas stove, seen in many apartment buildings. Heats evenly and has an excellent price; highly recommend it. We use it for tortillas, pancakes, all sorts of goodies.

Not pleased..
not overly impressed with cast iron to begin with. This item was looking like it was rusting from the first use. Not sure why tht happened. Not easy to clean as you have to wait for it to cool down to be able to handle it and its really heavy.

We use the griddle for pancakes, bacon and eggs and the grill side for burgers and dogs. Cleans easily. And fits the stove nicely

Warped and too sticky
Poor quality. It comes pre-seasoned and I had difficulty making pancakes. Sorry I bought it.
