My one and only complaint is that the zipper part of the pillow case came defective. It only zippers halfway open. At first I thought that was how it was supposed to be but after a closer look I realized that the fabric was sewn over the zipper. So I can only open my pillow case halfway. I didn't realize that this wasn't how it was supposed to be until a couple of weeks after using it. Real shame because it's a great pillow case.My husband sweats a lot a night. I was washing his pillow at least once a week because it would start to have that sweaty smell within a couple of days. I don't know if you've ever washed a pillow before but they tend to get lumpy and unusable at a certain point. I got tired of throwing away pillows because they didn't survive the washing machine. What really drew me to this pillow case was the fact that it had a plastic inner-lining while still having the soft outside. I washed my husband's pillow and put it in the case and didn't tell him. He had no idea his pillow was in the case. I was worried it would make crinkling sounds and give itself away but it doesn't! The best part about this is that I went a full week without needed to wash the case, and when it was time to wash it, I just through the case in the wash with the rest of the bedding. His pillow, smelled like it had just come fresh out of the washing machine. So it definitely helps keep the sweat out and thus keeps the pillow smelling fresh.

Very happy to have this pillow protector. We have 2 down pillows; I feel they need more protection than the others. My son has his favorite pillow he can't live without. It has been less than perfectly clean simply from use and dribble and whatever else; washing it is fine but this added level of protection is so much appreciated by me! I think all pillows should have a protector. I was given the opportunity to test and try this product and I am very satisfied. My son noticed no difference in comfort with his favorite pillow, and mama is happy that his pillow is protected just a bit more. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Great product, great value

My daughter has severe eczema. I thought she could be allergic to something. Turns out she isn't. She just has very sensitive skin. The material of this pillow cover is nice and soft on the outside. Doesn't have a rough plastic feel like others do and doesn't make a plastic bag noise. I'm not 100% sure that it is affective but it's good to know if there are little creatures or dust/allergens in the pillow, her head is protected. I take it with me on trips when we stay at hotels to cover the pillows. The downside is that when washed, it's better to let air dry, which takes a while.

I have a recently discovered allergy to dust mites, dogs, cats and mold all of which can be find in varying degrees in my home. As soon as I found out I had these adult onset allergies my allergist recommend for me to immediately get pillow and mattress protectors. I have had a couple different ones now and I thought this pillow protector was just as nice if not nicer than the ones I had previously purchased at a higher price.The outside of this case is soft and would be comfortable without a case over it if you were so inclined. The waterproof part is on the inside so it's not crinkly like some other less expensive ones I've seen. No one wants to feel like they're sleeping on a plastic bag so this is important. It has a zipper enclosure for maximum protection. In case you were wondering the case measures 27" x 21-1/2" so it should fit any standard or queen pillow.If you're wondering if these will really help with your allergies they do. I was in an awful state when I found out about my allergies and just doing this simple step helped a lot. Also, I have a 3 year old and an old dog and since my pillow is an $80 pillow I'm all for whatever waterproof protection I can get for it. :-)I received this complimentary product for my honest and unbiased review but that in no way swayed the above statements.

So I just got a sleep number pillow and thought this is going to be perfect to go with my new pillow and boy was I right. If fits on a standard size pillow. It has terry cloth material, so its kinda like a towel, which is awesome for me cause i go to bed every night with wet hair. It has a zipper, so that means my pillow will stay clean and the protector will always stay on and not slide off like pillow cases do. It prevents dust mites and bed bugs as well as protectors from mold or mildew, which a huge factor for me. There is a big difference using this and not using one. Its great for my sleeping habits and protects me from all the yuckies that happen in the beds. The best thing is its not vinyl and that means no noises and feeling like im on plastic. I completely recommend this!! I will be getting more for my pillows!!!
