Mel Bay Funk Drumming

If you want to learn to play funk, this is it. The book is fantastic and the accompanying CD is a great addition. I am presently taking drumming courses at Berklee college of music and this is one of the books we have to buy for the funk course. Mr. Payne has studied under and played with some of the greatest musicians that ever were.I am very happy with this book and will be using it once I start teaching with own students.

I was amazed with the fine condition of this book, the CD was even in pristine condition. I will, without a doubt, make more purchases through Amazon.

Easy to follow excerizes that take you from the basic beat to the professional version. Recommend it highly for beginners and pros as well.

Very good to develop your funk groove.
