12V 30W LED Driver, 240V to 12V DC Constant Voltage Transformer

As described, good value.

It converts 240 volts to 12 volt for lighting in my entrance porch. It’s safer to have low voltage lighting in a slightly damp area. The transformer is fiddly to wire and only suitable 1 mm mains input cable the connections being very small. The output terminals are also very small so again use low ampere flex. It is supplying two MR16 LEDs. It’s a very low price and does the job. It good value for money and a small compact unit. These LEDs are rated about 2 x 5 watts so the ampere is around 1amp.

used for inductive load (motors), surprisingly stable output. overcurrent protection works by motor pulsing instead of slowdown when you exceed limit

replace halogen bulbs with leds

It outputs 12v like all the others, will update the review if it stops working and I remember. The terminals are annoyingly small on this though, the wire was too hard to get in and I think a couple of strands must have fell off as I tried. I fitted 2 different 12v transformers at the same time so I can find out if one is more reliable than the other if one of them dies early and the other one didn't have terminals this small.

Worked well but didn't work for anymore than 3 months

Tuve que instalar una cerradura eléctrica que iba a12V. Todos los transformadores que encontré en el mercado eran carísimos, por eso decidí comprar este. Va perfecto, fácil de instalar y tras meses de uso no ha dado ningún fallo. Aconsejo su compra.
