Danny Gill ROCKS
I have played bass since 1974 and I started teaching myself guitar about 6 years ago, and I have been rhrough almost 100 book/audio sets for guitar. This book was one of the most FUN ones I have come across, and very helpful. I agree with another reviewer that it helps to time-stretch (slow down) the more challenging audio examples if you have a way to do that (I use Sony Acid). I am planning on getting more of Danny's books. Not sure why he's not a more well-known guitarist!

Fantastic book. I can't say much more
Fantastic book. I can't say much more. The groves are so good you almost feel like they are jam tracks. Danny Gill is DA Man

Very fun
I just bought this book, and I love the way it starts ...so far so good. I think a lot of the rythem sections have a rock influence so if you need to improve to play ...say covers, its really solid. Im just getting into it but I most definitely recommend it.

good book!
Great stuff for the intermediate guitarist. I really enjoy the exercises. You'll need a "slow downer" app for practice though. Building chops for even the slower tempo recordings on the CD is a challenge. Playing along with the full speed recordings is not for beginners.

Más de Danny Gill
Muy buen libro sobre la forma de abordar los nuevos ritmos del rock. Aviso a navegantes, el libro no empieza en un nivel básico, y desde la primera lección ya va dando caña. Muy recomendable.
