I PURCHASED 2 OF THESE FROM RIDDEX PLUS AHD A PACKAGE OF 4 FROM BELL AND HOWELL....IT HAS BEEN MOHTHS AND THE INSECTS IN MY HOUSE ARE ALMOST GONE. I PLACED ONE IN EACH BEDROOM, ONE IN MY LIVINGROOM/DININGROOM, ONE IN MY KITCHEN AND ONE IN MY STORAGE SHED OUTSIDE. I DECIDED TO COMBINE THE PRODUCTS FROM 2 DIFFERENT COMPANIES....I WAS SO ESKEPTICAL BUT MY HANDYMAN TOLD ME THAT HE PLACED ONLY 2 AND FINALLY HE FOUND THE SOLUTION FOR A PROBLEM HE HAD MAINLY WITH ROACHES. AFTER 2 OR 3 WEEKS YOU START TO SEE THEM UPSIDE DOWN, STILL ALIVE BUT WITHOUT ENERGY UNTIL YOU SEE THEM NO MORE. IT IS FUNNY BUT IT IS HARD FOR ME TO ACCEPT THAT THESE LITTLE BOXES CAN DO THIS. YOU NEED TO GIVE LIKE 2 WEEKS BEFORE YOU SEE RESULTS. BELL AND HOWEL SOUNDS HONEST WHEN THEY MENTION IN THEIR INSTRUCTIONS THAT WITH TIME ROCHES START GETTING USE TO THE UTRASOUND NOISE. WELL...THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO SURVIVE A NUCLEA ATTACK ANYWAY......AS A BACK UP PLAN I APPLY MYSELF PEST COHTROL CHEMICALS, BUT NOW IS LESS FREQUENTLY. I HAVE A CHIGUAGUA DOG AND SO FAR, NO PROBLEM .SO FAR IS 5 STARS PRODUCT....THIS TIME I WILL ENJOY TO GIVE A FUTURE REVIEW AND UP DATE.. STAND BY.....

Everyone, Please be aware that this is not a real riddex plus device. The devices are sent from china and are a counterfeit of the original. The devices have the following dead giveaways that they are not the real device. 1) The devices emit a high pitch sound whereas the real one is silent 2) The device uses a different LED configuration (green light blinking insects and rodents red light blinking only rodents) the real device has a solid green light and blinking red light 3) There is no UL label on the back of the unit which is required for details check this web link http://www.prweb.com/releases/2011/CounterfeitRiddexPlus/prweb5179144.htm. That being said I am currently testing the counterfeit models and so far they actually may be working. I will try to update after using the devices for a few months. This is just a buyer beware warning that the devices being sold from this company (louise store) are counterfeit and therefore do not represent the real product.

If you're considering this product you probably have mice coming through one or more entry points in your house like we do. I have three of these plugged in at various points in our house and the true test just came when the weather turned cooler. The mice have come in for warmth and these did not deter them. The only thing it has done was force them from behind the walls into the living areas of my home. I've seen THREE mice scurry in front of me over the past week. Before, we would get a mouse from time to time and hear it in the walls then find it dead in the trap eventually. With this, I got to chase it around the house on three separate occasions and it seems like we have more mice since installing these but I can't say for sure. So, it doesn't deter mice from entering your home, only from staying out of sight once they get inside. I suppose if you had a some kind of arrangement where you needed to flush them out from behind a wall it would work, which is the only reason I gave it two stars. I am ordering exterior spray that will keep them from entering and would recommend that as a better option.

Don't think it's the real ones. According to another reviewer, the real Riddex showed a black rat, not a multi colored mouse on packaging. Bought this one because the listing pic showed a black rat. But when I received the product, discovered the packaging had the multi colored mousse. Rats still there. Never worked.

So yeah, I'm just going to say this, the seller sent me a knock-off product. I have a genuine riddex and I've taken it apart. When I got these two, the first thing I noticed was.. they sent me the EU plug version. so.. like wtf. I can't even use them.. anyways, I took them apart since I have family in Europe I can give these two..The first thing I noticed was.. this was about half the weight of the real Riddex. When I opened it up, the board was scares. All that was on there were resistors a few diodes and some capacitors. It's missing most of the components in the real Riddex. So yeah, BOTH of them are fakes and are essentially glorified LED nightlights.

THIS PRODUCT WORKS SO WELLI saw one roach in my apartment In NJ I think it came through the vent. After a few days of this product plugged in I never saw a roach again. The same goes for my familys house in Brooklyn. No roached but they have this weird centipede like fast crawler that come out every spring summer and fall. I saw one then I plugged this product in and I never saw another one again. Anyone with any type of issue like this needs to buy it.

Have used these before. Just replacing them. I date them. I use the one in my garage to gauge if the are still working. Fist sign of a bug, I replace them. I have one in my attic, no spiders or bugs, one located by the front and back door. This is a great price.

Totally awesome!!!! I purchased this pest repeller because I had a few mice in my house and a squirrel in my Attic. I had used this product in 2000 when I first bought my home and had it for years and I never had any pest but a few years back it went out and I never replaced it then I started seeing a few roaches and mice were coming into my house so it dawned on me to buy another one so I got this two pack on Friday January 17 2014 and I plugged them in (I couldn't sleep the mice and the squirrel were keeping me up at night) and went out of town until that Monday I haven't heard a squirrel or mouse Praise God for this device I am so thankful. Also I went into my kitchen and saw a small roach on its back trembling .This is a Godsend for me I will order two more for back up .I put one in the front and one in the back and in less than a week results
