I've tried several such stands, from kickstands on phone/tablet cases, multi-jointed gizmos with 5-6 fragile moving parts, aluminum chunks impossible to pack, and VERY heavy stands with a low center of gravity. I travel extensively and every stand so far has had numerous advantages and disadvantages. The Geekercity stands meet every need I have - lightweight, portable, works for tablets and phones - as long as you don't have some honking thick cover or case or Mophie - and reliable. I regularly carry two and whenever I've given them to others I find they use them constantly. Even if one breaks or gets abused, they are inexpensive enough to replace without regret or resentment.

I wish I could buy a six pack of just one color (perhaps black) but for function, I love these. I keep one in my pants pocket with my phone as well as in the pockets of things I wear around the house (work pants, sweats, etc.). I then have some spread in key areas where I like to prop up my phone to watch videos. The only bad part about them is they fold up so nicely that I forget to take them out of my pockets when I wash my clothes and then they go where many a sock has gone. If someone can tell me where that is, I'd appreciate it. I have since put this on my Amazon Shopping List -- they have become a household staple.

Just perfect for its purpose. The price is right, they are sturdy enough, compact, extremely transportable, and adjustable within limits. I'm using it now and always do now... while charging or using giant clock (free plug) with my S7 on which I have a slender case and its fine when closed about half way enabling it to tilt back a touch. I have gifted a few to others. I think they will like them too. I wish one could pick colors, but that's where the gifting comes in....heh heh.

Great items to have on you when you want to use your phone for videos or just scrolling! They even work great as a colorful charging rack! However, having a bulk case with this isn't recommended. I've been able to squeeze it in with a faux leather case, an iPad otter box, and a speck case.

These are so handy and effective to have. I think they do a better job than some other fancier more expensive ones. I have them in different places where I use my phone either for music or video watching. The phone is very balanced on it, it does not tip backwards even if you try really hard. Great concept and very easy to use.

I love these things. Just big enough to handle my tablets (7" and 8" models) and Kindle Paperwhite. And they fold flat so I always have a couple in my carry-on. I can put one or two in my pocket. Much more pleasant reading the Kindle while eating if it is propped up.Just be careful that you don't have a thick case on whatever on your device.Only downside is that the angle isn't really adjustable. But it's worked for me on airplane seatback trays and dining tables.

These were rather cheap and after a couple of months of use, they still look brand new. They prop up any number of phone sizes very well. The colors really pop, which I guess could be good or bad. I like it, though. I'm really impressed with how well these have held up, though, for the price. Definitely a good deal.

The main picture shows these being held in an iphone case, but the they are not wide enough to be held in my otterbox case which isn't super bulky. Great if you have your phone in a super slim case or no case at all.
