Best purchase ever!
This has taken the misery out of our unusually cold winter. We now love to hang out in the living room..and we can take our shoes off at the end of the day and not feel chilly. All cats and humans now love to lay on our rug. I bought one for my mother and would recommend to anyone!note. we have an unheated crawl space under our living room and so we placed a piece of mylar heat reflecting material beneath the rug pad so the heat wouldn't seep out the bottom. Seems to work well.

Radiant floor warming is very comfortable.
I bought a pad to put under this at a carpet store. I use this to warm a concrete floor in the winter. This should not be expected to heat a room, it's only 365 watts. A hair dryer is more powerful. As a floor warmer it works great. I love to lay on and warm my back. Feels good on feet too.

Loved so much - bought a 2nd one!
We bought our first rug buddy (5x7) for our baby's nursery and love it! It keeps his room warm (with a programmable outlet thermostat we also ordered) while we can keep our bedroom and the rest of the house cool. We loved it so much we bought a second one for our drafty living room. Guests always comment on how great it feels!

Awesome for an electric heat apartment!
We have a small old condo with electric baseboard heat that is cold most of the time. This works great to make it feel warmer and I think at a lower cost right where we are most of the time.

toasty...great for your feet. consider it supplemental heat, i don't think it would heat my living room in the winter by itself...
