Dimensions Needlepoint Kit, Sunflower and Ladybug Floral Needlepoint, 5" x 5"

I wanted to start a new craft and it is a lovely pattern. I have just started on it. It will take me time to finish it!

My granddaughter passed away exactly a year ago just before her 18th birthday from Ewing’s Sacoma. Her favorite flower was the Sunflower. I embroidered several for her 3 sisters and did this needlepoint for her mom and dad. Just as it appears and easy to do, I’ll frame it for them for Christmas! Great price and delivery!

I was so looking forward to doing this, but the graph does not include color symbols, just vague shaded areas. I was completely befuddled as to how to proceed, so abandoned the project.

Fun project to get me back into needlepoint.

Not recommended for those who have problems w arthritic hands. Pretty.

It is definately not for beginners....lots of color change and directions were not detailed enough...had to rely on you tube. Gave the kit away.

I am an experienced embroidered and have done many many needlepoint kits in my life. This was the first time I used stranded embroidery cotton for a needlepoint. It is difficult to work with because it is slippery compared to wool. For this reason I think a beginner would find it frustrating. Quality was good. Almost ran out of one or two colours but overall very happy. The finished product looks great. I made this because the sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine and I wanted to stand in solidarity with all Ukrainians.
