It's what you get for a few bucks.
I bought this around 3 years ago. The materials do look cheap unlike the overexposed pictures. The black plastic part is not very elastic. After a month or so it already had the shape of 6 strings on it. After 3 months or so, it was getting hard to clamp all 6 strings without any buzz sound from the 6th string (the thickest string). I'm still using it and it works just fine, but it will take me a few trials to not get any buzz sound. I personally feel it easy to adjust the capo from fret to fret, but some people seem to have trouble because they are used to the capos that have the handle on the opposite direction. In short, it does the job and meets the expectations for such price. If you really set your mind to play guitar very well, you won't need to use capo that much when you advance up, because your finger is going to be the capo for you. Maybe by the time this capo shows up the bad qualities, you just need to use it once in a while. I'm not trying to generalizing everybody though, it is different from person to person.

Nice Capo for the price
Pros: Capo seems durable, spring seems resilient. I have been using it for about a month and average about 2 hours a week of actual playing time and it is effective. I had previously used a K capo and the plastic snapped making it useless. I then used a stretchy rubber band capo which worked well until the elastic wore out. I think this is made of some sort of metal or very hard plastic, but havent verified. I have no conern that it will break, however. Also, the rubber on the bottom of the capo is nice because, if, like me, you clip your capo to the head of the guitar and lean it against the wall it provides it some tack to prevent sliding off the wall.Cons: In my experience you have to make sure the opening of the capo is on your E string not your e string. At the joint of the Capo there is simply not enough "umph" to hold down the E. That may differ depending on the depth of your guitar neck.I use it on an Epiphone PR5E and an Epiphone LP 100.Overall: for the price great buy!

FAST shipping
I ordered this Capo on a Thursday and received it in the mail the following Tuesday. I had never used a Capo of this design so I was a little skiptical but I figured with the price, I might as well give it a try. This thing works great. There is not a name brand on it but looks really good on my acoustic guitar. The spring on it is very tight and ensure a good quality sound when moving in up and down the fret board. I have only used Kyser Capos in the past but this one works just as well. Only drawback to it is that you have to make sure it clamps down evenly on the fret you are changing keys to, otherwise you'll get some rattling noise from the strings. Once you get the hang of placing it where you need it, it works very fast when you need to change keys.

Great price!
This is a great capo for the money. I have had it for quite some time now and while it works well enough, there are a few reasons I prefer the On-Stage Gear capo I have instead. This capo is about 3/4" wide (as opposed to the On-Stage which is 1/2"). The spring has started to squeak when squeezed and does not seem to grip as tight. For these reasons, every once in a while I would find myself having to adjust and press down on it to make sure no strings were buzzing, especially at the higher frets and on acoustic guitar. This was one of the first capo's I purchased as a beginner and I absolutely do not regret it. It was dirt cheap and does the job required. Now I use it primarily for my electric guitar with light gauge strings and save my better capo for the acoustic.

my borther says it works perfectly
I've played guitar for over ten years people and feel the need to mention that because the product was bought and shipped straight to my younger brother who lives out of state but I do know my way around these.the four stars is because it took over a month for my brother to receive the capo which cause an annoyance on my behalf because he would call or text me every day about it to track the product. second I'm giving it four stars because I too have the exact same capo that I have on one of my acoustic guitars that I play every day. this is the model for the capo that I use but I bought at an earlier time and a different seller but the capo works.its not perfect because I have to adjust a few times which compared to the $20 capos I have from guitar center but for what I paid for it, its simply worth every penny and more because it does manage to get the job done. just be warned shipping took over a month.(if you take the free shipping option)

Not a bad capo for the price
The only reason I am giving this a four star rating is because it is a challenge to use this with my 12 string guitar. Sometimes I have to pull it back off of the fretboard and carefully clamp it back over all the strings. If not carefully placed some of the highervstrings end up sounding out of tune or "tinny" or "twangy". I have used better capos than this, but then again, I paid a lot more for them

Decent for the price
Great for electric and acoustic guitars. I just wish this capo had more of a tight grip. The sound quality sounds muffled, you can manually tighten it after you place it and it will not sound this way. It's inconvenient, but this is a great capo for the price.

Pay more for more spirng tension
According to where you have your action set, this capo is going to buzz your string. Slight adjustments within the fret did not rectify the problem. It is easier to put on then my more expensive capo but that is because the spring has less tension. The result is an aggrivating buzz that I don't have with my other capo. I suppose you could say that this is not the fault of this particular capo but rather the action on my guitar; but I kept troubleshooting with my other capo and didn't have the same issue.

save yourself the aggravation and don't waste your money
What a piece of junk. Please listen to me...save yourself the aggravation and don't waste your money! I should know better by now, but you can learn from my mistake.Pictures don't tell the story at all. I ordered the white one, which looks like a beautiful polished piece in the pictures, but they sent me a silver (cast) one and it's full of scuffs and pock marks and it looks and sounds awful. I hope to hell some poor Chinese kid didn't have to suffer in a factory making this thing. This won't even suffice on a campfire axe, much less on a nice guitar like my Larivee. The quality is pathetic, and the part that makes contact with the strings is too soft, so it deadens the strings completely. For the love of God, go to your local mom & pop music store and drop the money on a GOOD capo!

Awesome-for the price (comes with pictures though quality may be ehh)
Its really good for the price and its good that the picture is not the actual capo. The one i got has a nice metal finish and doesn't look plastic-y. I even compared it side by side to my true - Kyser 6 switch metal capo. Of course the Kyser is far better quality and the finish is much better (Kyser is around $35 cad) but for $3 we r getting a nice metal capo. This for me is a steal. I bought this for the reason of needing an on the go capo and when i saw the picture i just said to myself that "ehhh whatever a plastic capo should be decent enough" but the product is better than whats said. If the seller changes the picture to the actual thing then they will definetly get more people buying. The reason i removed one star is because of how after more use the capo shows how it is not as well made because the glue holding the rubber is probably a dollar store glue and show signs of wear. Overall a good buy. I will also show the one I got next to my Kyser. If this does end up breaking over a while and I think it will after tons of use i may just buy another one :D

Also alles TOP!!!

A good buy for its price
It look a long time for this to arrive as it was shipped from China. The device works with no problem for my classical guitar but I find the clamping tension to be on the high side. For me it is not a big problem as I do not plan to use it often. Price is excellent.
