It was a strange wedding theme. Dragons and Dr. Who! But it was a HIT! First time making a character with fondant. This silicone mold was SO easy to use! I was so impressed! Quick ship and awesome product!

We've used this product twice so far - first for oven-bake clay (image) and second for cake fondant. It worked fantastically for the clay without any powdery substance to keep the clay from sticking. We used powdered sugar to keep the fondant from sticking. In both instances we ended up using a layer of parchment paper in order to push the medium down into the mold. Without the parchment paper, the clay and fondant stuck to our hands and we ended up getting double and triple mold imprints. That's nothing against this mold, I think it's just a silicone mold issue in general and this is the first time we've used silicone molds. Would buy again!

The mold was flexibly and easy to work with. Awesome for molding clay for polymer clay.

I really love the quality of Katy Sue Molds. The details of the scales is great. Bear in mind the scales aren’t that big. I wish it came in a larger scales as well.

This was pretty easy to use, however, it was so much smaller than I expected. It was a real pain to cover the cake. As you can see in the photo, there are seams all over it. Everyone loved it, but I was highly disappointed when it showed up due to the size.

Used the mold with homemade fondant to create a scaly egg cake. Worked out beautifully

Worked well, I had to patch the fondant over the cake because of the size of the mold, but due to the shape this worked quite well. Washed nicely, very happy with the product and delivery. I placed the fondant over the mold, then rolled the icing on top and cut to size.

Usei para decorar um bolo em pasta de açúcar. O efeito é muito bonito e fácil de fazer. Serve, por exemplo, para fazer o efeito de escamas de dragão.

I bought this for my daughter because she loves dragons and cakes. It's brilliant, detail is clear and it's easy to clean.
