The 92mm fan of the Alpine 7 Pro features a patented vibration absorption, which gives the cooler the best noise/performance ratio in its price class. The Alpine 7 Pro features Intel's push pin mounting for instant and easy installation. Due to the highly efficient thermal design and PWM function, with which the BIOS controls the fan speed of the Alpine, performance that is significantly quieter than the standard boxed cooler is achieved. Dimensions: 99(L) x 93(W) x 86(H) mm, Fan Speed: 500 - 2000 RPM controlled by PWM signal, Airflow: 36.7 CFM Max., Fan Bearing: Fluid Dynamic Bearing, Weight: 480 grams, Manufacturer's Warranty: 6 years

Quieter than stock Intel CPU cooler
I was looking for a quieter CPU fan cooler for my Intel i3-3220 (LGA 1155). The Stock cooler was just too loud when at max speed. I was looking for a quieter cooler that wasn't too big, would fit in my Rosewill FBM-01 mini tower case and was easy to install. After searching I came back to the Arctic Cooling Alpine 7 Pro CPU Cooler. It was cheap (actually discontinued and was once sold at a highly discounted price after rebate) and seemed to be quiet enough. It had PWM control and the push pins were easy to use. The 6 year warranty was quite impressive, although I've never had a fan fail on me. The HSF cooler is much taller than the stock. The cooling performance is just Okay. When loaded, the temperature is around 55C. At idle, it's about 43C. Ambient temperature was not measured. I didn't record my original numbers. At max RPM, there is some noise, but significantly better than the stock cooler. I should have reoriented the cooler such that the air is not block by my tall RAM sticks, but I don't think its a big issue.I would purchase this again if I was looking for another cooler.

A great CPU cooler
This is a great CUP cooler that runs very noiselessly, I really can't tell any difference between it and the five other fans in my PC. The CUP cooler installed very easy with no issues. The only real issues was that the inner plastic circle on the tip broke and snapped off completely when I removed it from the package. This was really a packing issue, the shipping box it came in had was not much bigger then the item's package, and only had a small piece of foam for protection. If the box was a little bigger with bubble wrap or packing air cushions this might of been avoided. Since the fan still works great I saw no reason to contact the seller for a return. This is a great, cheap CUP cooler for 1150 Intel chips.

Another great cooler from Arctic
Quiet, well designed and made, highly effective at keeping recent CPUs cool, Alpine 7 Pro is another excellent cooler from Arctic Cooling. The main weakness of this design is that the rubber vibration isolation bushings tend to wear out over time.Aside from that, this is another very well designed cooler from Arctic.

Quiet
Pros:-Quiet--rubber parts isolate the fan from the rest of the chassis-Efficient heat dissipation-Thermal paste includedCons:-Be careful with the heatsink if you remove the fan--its fins are SHARP.-Fans are a bit flimsy.

Arctic Alpine 7 pro
I have an i5 3570K step of 44 ° C to 40 ° C, ambient temperature 30 ° C, was hesitant to buy this cooler to install the CASE Silverstone SG05 Lite but reached to perfection just in the measure. It is an excellent cost-benefit investment.

Great CPU Fan for older socket 775 Motherboards
runs so quiet and you have to put your ear right up to the tower to listen or you can watch it spin around threw the small vent holes on the side panels of tower (case)

Nice fan, but ore money than I would have liked to spend.
This is a great fan that runs nice and seems to keep my cpu cold, but it could be cheaper; the product would probably not be as nice of quality if it were cheaper. Buy it if you have the money.

Unable to install on lga775 motherboard
Pins would not enter mounting holes on motherboard. Compared spacing on pins against stock intel cooler. Found pins to be about 3 mm too far apart when measured on the the diagonal. Will keep and file pin holes on cooler to make them extend more inward. Would cost about as much to return.

Its quiet and quite literally huge. In fact so large that it wont fit in my tiny case with the power supply still inside so I've had to put the power supply outside. On the plus side, since there is now a huge hole where the power supply should be, the air circulation is brilliant resulting in a better rotation speed for the fan. This reduces the sound to barely auditable. In addition, the power supply is not pumping out warm air into the case creating extra heat so again reducing its fan speed is reduced now its outside the case.On the bad side the whole set up now looks a little rubbish rather than it being a dinky little box of computing power!!

Guter Preis, gute Leistung
Sehr guter und leiser Lüfter. Leicht anzubringen und kühlt 6° kälter als mein vorheriger Boxed Lüfter.
