This is a sturdy, heavy, well made tamper that works great to pack down expresso.

The 49mm size fits perfectly for my 51mm basket (mistakenly got a 51mm one that didn’t work). Heavier than I expected, which is good—very easy to compress the coffee.

Minor cosmetic blemish on handle, evident corrosion in the threaded sections of the handle and tamper head, correct size and great weight. For the price, i feel this is a good value. Fits my rok espresso gc portafilter.

Heavy Metal
This thing is a brick. I haven’t used it for espresso yet, but I have decided to keep it on my nightstand for home protection. It’s so heavy that you could easily knock out an intruder with it.

The diameter is exactly 49mm, so don't buy this for your la pavoni pre-mill, as it won't be big enough. Otherwise it's good quality, but I have no idea what machine would have a portafilter this size.

Order and delivery was great. The box even said 49mm But as you can see by the pic the actual diameter was 51mm Not usable
