Sturdy but workable
The mesh is strong but still ables to cut with kitchen shears.

Perfect fit
Purchased this to use in an HVAC intake vent that had the grill missing. This grill fit perfectly (an 8x8” opening) and I used two screws to secure it in place. It completely fills the void and will keep birds and animals from being able to set up a nest in the tube.

Easy fit using a template...saved me a lot of money

Perforations way too large
The perforations in this mesh will definitely block a bird or large rodent from entering. But lizards, bees, wasps and likely small bats could enter as the holes are just too large in the mesh. Returned to Amazon unopened.
