Our Organic Grass Blend Hay which is a product of our 4th crop cutting, made in late summer, can be used as the primary food source in a balanced diet for sheep, goats, horses, and cows. It can also be used as a supplemental nutrient or special treat for many small animals, including chinchillas, guinea pigs, and rabbits. The alfalfa has a high leaf to stem ratio which gives a higher protein level. Because the sun isn't as intense this time of year this hay retains its green color. It also contains more grain than our 3rd crop hay and is very palatable. Super soft and tasty.
