Pros:Modular,lightweight, easy to store and move around, being able to change the color of light and brightness is what sold me. I use this for a study light, and it's kinda hot in my back room so I'm digging the little fan it comes with. I'm new to electronics hobby so I can say this is a good purchase for a noob.Cons?Maybe it's just how I have the light and everything set up, but it sometimes can tip over from being off balance. Never while I'm working because you simply position things so they dont, but in the process of setting up, it could tip over. But this is with all the arms installed, and I'm really only using 2 at a time. I'd say make the base a little heavier.Summary:I'm happy with my purchaseThe usb connections make this even better. I can plug it into a wall via an adapter(not included) or my laptop.Even if you dont need this. Buy it anyways.

Love it so far, although it's durability is questionable. It already feels like one of the octopus arms is loosening up. Put a resistor in line with the fan of it's too loud for you. The magnifying glass is amazing and the lights are plenty bright, just wish it was bigger.

I’ve used the smaller metal helping hands with alligator clips and figured it was time to upgrade since I need something more.This has been pretty great so far, just a few issues if I’m nitpicking.1. The arms could be a bit stiffer, if you put something heavy in one, it can fall over.2. You’ll need 2 USB ports to plug in both the fan and light ring. The cable for the fan is much shorter than the lights cable so you’ll need to figure that out or get an extension.For the price this is great and I’d buy it again! It’s been so helpful for soldering small wires to quad flight controllers. I’m sure if would be good for lots of other projects also.

I really like this product! The extra long flexible arms are very convenient. The magnifier and fan are helpful. Definitely worth buying.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!Do you even attempt to think before you produce your products? Plastic arms that can't even hold the light up above your working surface, hope you enjoy shattering the magnifying glass all over your circuitry when this worthless piece of trash falls out because they didn't screw it down all the way.
