Got this on sale for a third off, and definitely worth it at that price. Haven't tried the Alexa/voice features, but easy to use with the provided remote, and very simple and easy to setup with the app on a smartphone as well. The smartphone controls are a little laggier than the remote when moving the robo around, but on the fliphand you can do it from anywhere using the app. If you're not home and you get a notification that the robo is stuck, usually just back it up for a second or two and it will figure its way out of whatever jam it was in. You can use the app to set a schedule for the auto cleaning, so you can just leave it and it'll never need bothering. Cleaning it out is very easy, the dust compartment clips out effortlessly and is easy to dump in the bin. It holds a surprisingly decent amount too. The dust filter can be cleaned by holding it under a tap then air-drying. You get a replacement included as well. If you have any long-haired pets/people at home this thing is a godsend. Most of it ends up tangled around the brushes rather than being sucked up, but it's easy to clear. You get a handy cutting tool in the box, and all the brushes/wheels clip off which lets you just pull any tangled hair clear in seconds. Any stubborn hair properly wrapped around can be snipped with the cutter and it's good to go again. Easy to clean and you can totally just leave it alone to do its thing. Also amusing to use the remote to just drive it around/chase people with. It's always found its way back to the charging dock no problem, and has a series of beeps to communicate issues it does has - but it will also send you a notification on the app with any exact problem which works better. It smartly avoids walls and solid objects alright, and amusingly just bounces of anything smaller like chairs, using the bumper on the front to good effect. Overall a very solid and well built piece of kit, which was clearly designed with ease of use and simple cleaning in mind. Does exactly what it says on the box, and does it well. My first ever robo vacuum and very impressed with it.

This is our first robotic cleaner. Our "Dusty" (sorry, but if you buy one you will give it a name) is pretty amazing. I have waited a while before reviewing so any ideosyncrasies would come to light. The cleaner does a really good job -we have now set him on a schedule so that he he is cleaning every day with the result that the ground floor of our home is noticeably much cleaner than before. We have been through countless numbers of big named mains powered cleaners which have died over time - they were all efficient and picked up well but they did take up valuable time out of the and they were incredibly noisy. We had recently purchased a top named cordless cleaner which again was good.and picked up well but even that was really noisy.and again took up time. Conversely, the Robovac is amazing, it is quiet - the advertising indicates about the level of a microwave and they are absolutely correct - picks up easily as well as the other cordless vac if not better, and better still we don't need to push it around the house. He works really well with Alexa integration - I tell him to clean and he just does it. There are few negative points none of which were deal-breakers for us : 1. The waste box is really quite small - it is smaller than the Air Ram's - I empty and clean it after each use, changing the filter each time (it is reusable and washable) - this is very easy and quick so not that much of an issue. 2. He has tried to eat a few cables that I had forgotten to lift off the floor - all this has done is shut him down until I could rescue him and off he went agaain. 3. Every now and then he gets stuck under furniture and has to be rescued but this is only occasionly. 4. He is fitted with drop sensors and I have used him upstairs but, probably quite irrationally, I have been afraid that he's going to hurl himself down the stairs so haven't left him unsupervised - I must say though, that he does approach the top stairand has turned round and gone back to resume his cleaning. 5. I still have to go around very close to the edges occasionally with a manual vac as, although the edge brushes work for solid bits they obviously aren't able to clean down into the carpet. 6. The vac cleans In a random pattern and does seem to clean everywhere but probably takes more time than one that maps its environment, although having two dogs, two cats and a parrot I'm quite pleased that it he does go over the same places more than once.I In summary our Dusty, although there are a few negative points they are only tiny and in fact almost not worth mentioning compared with the amount of positives.
