Calico Critters Luxury Townhome Gift Set

I took my daughter to the toy shop a couple weeks ago to get an idea of what she would be interested in for a gift on her 3rd birthday. They had a play table set up with this and some other characters and accessories. Once she saw it, she didn't want to look at anything else and played with it for the rest of our visit. I let her select one of the character sets to take home, knowing she would get this playhouse later.She was so happy when she saw the box and shouted, "WOW! Happy! Happy!" while jumping up and down. I'm so glad the contents were not in bits and pieces. I only had to secure the two pieces together with a bar, install the light fixtures and batteries and snap the balcony railing on. She's been playing with it for most of the day since she got it. There are some very small pieces like toast and pencils that she started to chew on so I've removed all of those for safe keeping until she's a little older.

This house is a Great value for all that comes with it. However, it comes with like 48 teeny tiny plates, forks, spoons, cups, food, even a mini coffee pot! There is No Way a child can successfully play with all these little items and are a real danger of swallowing! Only the Calico Critters have small enough paws to play with them, but they don't have fingers!Ithe does come with a bedroom set, kitchen table and chairs, and a working light!We love playing with it, but I took all the teeny tiny things and put them away. They'll kill my vacuum and I just plain dislike toys with a lot of useless small items.

This house is so great! My daughter asked for a dollhouse for her birthday and I didn’t really know where to start. I was under the assumption that the Calico Critters were good quality products, so I decided on this one. It’s the perfect size, not too big and not too small. I like that it came with two Critters and some furnishings. She’s ready to add a couch and a bathroom set! The lights actually work, you do need to have two AA batteries to place on the outside of the chimney for the lights to turn on. It was easy to assemble and everything came in perfect condition! It will be fun to add new furniture sets and other Critters with my daughter over time.

We <3 this ! It would be nice if the company made add on sections . We would love additional bedrooms & bathroom. .. Although it looks great as is, we had fun painting & wallpaper the rooms. We added flooring ... It quickly became a hobby & a favorite imaginative play area as we couldn't resist adding on stores etc. It's our little village. . Calico Critterso do not disappoint! My 4 year old is practicing interior & exterior design .. We also use it as a stage while giving critters personalities & scripts. .. I especially love that there are boxes to build which helps teach blueprint reading. .. We are careful not to loose parts (teaching responsiblity) Also impressed by the dexterity factor.... Fills the senses. .

We purchased this for my daughters second birthday. She loves it! She will play with this and the Critters for hours on end, which is fabulous for this mommy! It does come with several small pieces that we did not give her to play with for several reasons...1) even though I'm fairly certain she would not put them in her mouth, we didn't want to give her the temptation of the little food. 2) I didn't want her to lose them and be upset at the chance we couldn't find them. So we will save them for when she is older. Overall it is a great playhouse that doesn't scream gaudy, cheap, plastic toy.

My three year old daughter loves it! My mom gave her money to spend for Christmas and this is what she picked out. She saw a commercial for it on TV. The house is so adorable and there are so many cute little details. Just a warning, if your child is still putting stuff in her mouth, there are a ton of small accessories so that may be dangerous. My daughter is over that phase so it was not a concern. Also, it only comes with two bunnies so I bought her a set of additional bunnies. Everything in this line is precious!

We love love this little townhome! Shipping was quick and arrived with no issues or damages. Took away one star because it would be better if it came with some wallpapers to use to decorate vs having to go online and find our own/print/cut/paste inside the home. This set was sold at a great price and came with lots of accessories and two critters. Note: accessories are incredibly tiny-I would not give them to a child under 4 alone for fear they would choke on the tiny pieces.

This is really cute and well made. My girls got this for Christmas and they absolutely love it. They've played with every day. It was easy to assemble out of the box but my husband went the extra mile and super glued the pieces together. He said it was almost necessary since some of the connections were loose. At least this way we won't have to worry about pieces falling off easily during play. With that being said, I would definitely recommend having a tube of super glue handy while putting this house together. Overall I am very happy with this. The Calico Critters are adorable and my kids are very happy.

The stairs don’t secure or the deck I wished o bought a glue gun, tiny part are not for anyone under 6 they get lost and kids are to young to appreciate so I would not recommend for anyone under 7 personally very expensive for something that egts thrown into a corner first day I wish I could find the part to sell it to another mother who’s child wants it for Xmas to save them the time and money, my daughter loved it but if I could have I would have checked it out in store before purchase

Got this for my 9yr old for Xmas. I thought she was going to pee her pants when she tore open the wrapping. Really well made, and together with the other accessories that she got she's in play heaven. Money well spent. Let their imagination run free. The longer they stay away from smart phones and tablets the better.

Nunca había comprado esta marca de juguetes, y me sorprendió la calidad con respecto al precio en relación a lo que cuestan hoy otras marcas de juguetes más comerciales. Todo está super bonito, resistente y bien hecho. Mi hija de 9 años super feliz de recibirlo como regalo de cumpleaños. Definitivamente recomendado.

The house and critter's and furniture are amazing, but I gave it a bad star because the house has 2 TINY led lights. You can turn on a light in the bedroom and one in the living room which is a great feature and one of the reasons I purchased this house. Well i'm on my third set of 2 double A batteries. The lights have maybe been on for an hour in total play time and i've gone through 6 batteries already!? It seems a little ridiculous since they are tiny LED lights. I don't know if i've received a flawed house but it's kinda taking the joy away constantly getting frustrated with the lights not working.
