Poorly designed. Poor quality.
This is a very poorly designed over-the-sink cutting board. The only desirable aspect is that it is made of wood. Although this board is meant to be expanded to fit different sink sizes, the supports are too weak and flexible to make this possible. These inserts only support the board when they are fully inserted, and you cannot use the supports as handles because they slide in and out of the holes freely. As my sink takes a board that will fit with near fully inserted supports, I was able to use Gorilla Glue to hold the inserts in place. So far that is working well. However, previous reviews indicated that the board may also warp or the glued sections become unglued. So far this has not happened, but I have not had it long. Given the poor reviews I read at the time of purchase, I only bought this board out of desperation.I have a 20 year old over-he-sink board that still works well, but is well worn, beat up, and on it's last legs. The design is not that different from this board, but the differences are critical. The inserts of my great old board are made of strong painted metal (not weak, flexible metal coated in easily damaged vinyl) and are set in place by set screws on the underside so they stay where they are placed. The manufacturer needs to upgrade the quality of the board and make important design changes; mainly, use sturdy strong inserts that are set with screws so that where need them is where they stay and and the inserts not only support the board but serve as handles for pulling the board out from wherever it is stored, usually under the sink.I think design and quality are particularly important as my impression is that there is a demand for a good over-the-sink cutting board that will fit different size sinks, even if, with modern variation in sink size, there is a need for several sized boards with insert adjustment capability. In my opinion, this manufacturer/seller is missing the boat and will probably earn little more than a bad reputation selling this item. Hard to imaging how one could do a poorer job of it.

Serves its purpose
This was bought to replace one that was about 40 years old. I kept a plastic basin under it to hold dirty dishes in the kitchen sink until the dishwasher was unloaded, to thaw frozen foods, etc., and I liked being able to hide such things from immediate view. It also was handy as a cutting board, but it eventually warped, showed a lot of wear, and looked horrible, so I hunted for a replacement for years. Voila! Why didn't I think of Amazon sooner?Unlike my old one, though, the finish is rather rough, so I cannot be completely sure of a thoroughly clean surface if I use it as a cutting board. Another problem is that the "props" that suspend it from the edges of the sink tend to slip, and the board falls into the basin below. I had to stuff birthday cake candles into the holes to keep everything in place. Works for me!

Board is not safe:
product handles fall out. Even lined up with sink the board falls down when trying cut items. The handles slide out and do not hold in place. I had one like it for over 30 years that finally gave up. I have looked for 5 years to replace it, thought your product would do it. I purchased 2 on the belief it would. One for myself and one for my partialy-blind brother which could cause a serious problem for him.

Handles not secure
There is a design flaw in this product. The “handle” are just metal rods that slide into holes on the side. There is nothing to stop or provide any resistance from them coming completely out, so it has been awkward and clumsy for me to use. I’m going to try putting a slight bend in the ends of the rides, to hopefully provide a little bit of resistance. I am not returning the product, because I need it, but I probably would not buy it again. The wood of the cutting board seems to be of good quality, although it was not pre-oiled.

Looks very good.
Liked that it is made out of wood and looks good. Only minor problem is the extendable arms to put it over the sink. So far they have a tendency to slide back into the wood and let the cutting board drop into the sink. My wife is trying to glue them into the right position and the glue should be dry by tomorrow. She said she would not put anything breakable on it util the arms are working right.

As adverised however
This board is about 2/3's the thickness of my last over the sink cutting board, so a little disappointed there.Additionally, the wire formed handles fit very loose in the cutting board and are frequently coming out of the cutting board.

Love but also hate
I love this item, because it was exactly what I was looking for, as a matter of fact, this is the second one I have bought, the only reason I also hate it, is because if you neglect to take good care of it, or if someone other that you is careless, and allows it to get wet without drying, the wood WILL split. so, I wish that they included some sort of disclaimer with this item!

It works fine. However, the wood is thinner & barely fits over my standard size kitchen sink.
I have a old worn out cutting board that fits perfectly over my kitchen sink. I like it so much that I want another just like it. I ordered this model. The wood is thinner & just barely fits over my standard size kitchen sink. It fits & works fine. However, I miss my old cutting board. The use of “grande” in the description made me think it was a thicker GRANDE cutting board.
