VooDoo Tactical Men's Tactical

This is a size XL Regular (fits as expected) poly/cotton field jacket that reminds me of a light version of the M-65, without a hood or removable liner, and with some improvements, like a water-proof/resistant liner on the inside, plenty of velcro on the shoulders and chest for patches, large British style buttons which are very secure, more pockets, underarm vents, drawstrings at the waist and the hip, MOLLE at the lower back / lumbar region on the exterior. I got this to have a rugged jacket to wear over a sweater or fleece while riding public transportation, and it could be overkill because people seem to wonder if I am in uniform or something. But I have never seen anyone else wearing a VooDoo Tac 1 jacket so I'm down with it.

But I have never seen anyone else wearing this jacket so I'm down with it.

This jacket is extremely versatile. It has side zippers around the waist so having a knife or pistol, is perfectly worn from the belt but outside of the jacket. The jacket doesn't feel too warm in the 50-60 degree range when underarm zippers are open but can button up for those really cold temperatures. Also the velco is great for all of my hook backed patches and the webbing is also on the breast velco. I ordered a XL and it is exactly that and not an inch larger. So if you are just a hair larger than a size go up not down. The draw strings are long but when you tie them up in a slip knot they are the perfect length. I ordered the sand color and well it is not really sand tan....more of an olive green, overall a very good and desired color.

As with all things from Voodoo Tactical, this is a very cool looking jacket. Tons of pockets all over and lots of places to store items. Very durable material and it waterproof as well. The only thing I don't like is the way the inner shell material feels to your skin. It has some type of shiny, plastic, waterproof layer all on the inside and it feels sticky to the bare skin AND seems to make the jacket unbreathable if you know what I mean. In a sense, you'll be sweating pretty quick. It's a pretty thin coat; almost like a jacket shell so don't expect it to keep you warm on a really cold day but you will look pretty darn bad-arse wearing it. Love the Voodoo!

While the construction and fit of the jacket are both up to VooDoo Tactical standards, the color is off. I logged back in to Amazon to return my jacket, but decided to see if anyone else had received the wrong color first. It appears others have also complained about the color. (I should have read all the reviews before pulling the trigger.)As you can see in the photo, in daylight, next to the Amazon box, this isn’t a “sand” colored jacket.Luckily, matching colors wasn’t why I bought this. I wanted something with lots of gear pockets and this jacket will serve that purpose.Just know, if you’re expecting “sand,” you’re going to get something closer to OD Green.

Small fit. I usually take a large but ended up getting a XXXL. With a fleece liner the XXXL is snug. I'm 6 ft 195lbs 45 inch chest 34 waist and wide shoulders though. Even still the L I got first fits my 5 ft 105lb wife ok.The quality is top notch, well made. Very useful field coat.

Super nice material, fits the way I expected and plenty of pockets. If you need a field jacket this is one you should seriously consider.

Cannot beat the quality for the dollar, but XL will fit an individual 5'8 to 5'10 maybe 205 MAX. XXL is friggin huge, like 6'2 and up to 245 easy.

Jacket is well made. In the photos the jacket is a coyote brown which they call sand. When the jacket arrived it was a creamy colour which would not stand up for my use on the range. I ordered a XL I wear a L so I could add a layer as needed. Way to big sleeves hung down way past my fingers and the shoulders hung half way off. I returned it for a refund. Voodoo should get their colours correct and size the products as they are here in North America ( Canada )

Lots of velcro for patches, lots of strapping for gear. Looking forward to my next deployment to try it out.

Jacket is actually OD green. There is no sand color according to the seller. Jacket fits small. Looks to be good quality, but disappointed.
