Question 1

Does this spiralizer work well for making curly fries with a potato or sweet potato?

Accepted Answer

Dear DL,Yes, you can use it to make curly fries with a potato or sweet potato! For potatoes, sweet potatoes & beets, it is recommended to choose straight and thin vegetables with minimum bumps and bends, for best results. The bigger the width of the vegetable, the more strands you get. Twist vegetable using pressure, speed, continuity, and angle to create continuous strands. And of course, you should peel them first because the outer skin is pretty tough. Please know that The Kitchen Supreme Spiral Slicer is specially designed to be used with zucchini, squash, cucumbers and carrots. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any questions you may have! Question 2

Accepted Answer

Dear Jessica Ferretti,Thank you for writing to us so that we can assist you! With the Kitchen Supreme Spiral Slicer, your vegetable lifestyle is about to transform. You can easily REPLACE HIGH CARB Pasta or Noodles with healthy and colorful veggies and SAVE TIME from slicing, dicing, and other conventional julienning methods. Now, you can enjoy the same recipes that you love so much, with the same texture and taste, but only with much more vitamins and minerals. I wrote for you below a quick and easy recipe to try with your new kitchen gadget.Ingredients:1/2 tablespoon olive oil3 garlic cloves, chopped3/4 lb grape tomatoes, cut in halfpinch red crushed pepper flakesSalt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste1 tbsp chopped fresh basil1 large zucchini, spiralized with your Kitchen Supreme Spiral SlicerDirections:In a large non-stick pan set over high heat, heat the oil. Add the garlic and cook until golden, 30 seconds. Add the tomatoes, and crushed red pepper flakes, and season with salt and pepper. Reduce the heat to low. Simmer, covered, until the tomatoes soften,10 minutes. In the meantime, grab your spiral slicer and start spiralizing your zucchini. Please avoid peeling the zucchini before spiralizing it and also avoid pre-salting the veggie noodles after. Just spiralize and go!Increase heat to medium-high, stir in the zucchini and basil, season with salt and cook for 2 minutes. Don't cook the zoodles for too long. Think of making pasta al dente. Use the same method in order for you to have crunchy veggie noodles. Serve right away. Zucchini, tomatoes, and basil are just made for each other, you can serve as a side dish, or even as a main dish topped with some grilled shrimp or meat.I am looking forward to having you as a happy member of the Kitchen Supreme family!Sincerely and respectfully yours,IngridCustomer Happiness ManagerKitchen Supreme
