This series was way too dark for me. I knew there was going to be all of the bad components of murder, hurt, hate, but I didn't expect it to be pretty much the ENTIRE series. It's brutal. It's all very descriptive with rape, murder, drugs, tons of various ways of torture, etc. This series is about vengeance with a tiny side of a love story. No happy ending except the vengeance realized. I personally don't enjoy reading series where there is not a single moment that I feel good about what I'm reading. This series made me feel horrible through the entire thing. We all want to stay in our wonderful worlds and act like these events don't happen in real life, but they do. I just prefer to not read about them. Had I know how truly dark this series was going to be, I would not have read it.The author's writing style is great though. Not paying attention to the content, her use of descriptions and movement through the story line is very well written.

After I read Seven Sons book by itself I totally got hooked and purchased this bundle so I can read the rest of the books in this awesome series.This was my first book from Lili St. Germain so I did not know what to expect. Well, like I said after that first book I was sold, came to Amazon and one-clicked the entire set. I love her writing style a lot, I will be buying her other books as well.This story is so phenomenal, so emotional and heart wrenching. Lili definitely brought out every emotion known to men with this book. Characters are very interesting and captivating, story is well written it keeps you on the edge of your seat and turning pages just to get to see what happens next.Julz is young girl out for revenge. After her father was betrayed and killed by the men she considered family along with his sons, same men raped and nearly killed her. Now that Julz is older she is back for revenge. She wants all of them dead.However the youngest son Jase is also at the MC club and Julz find herself having feelings for Jase.Is it even possible for anything to happen with these two considering the situation they are in? Lili St. Germain did excellent job tying all this together. I do not want to tell you what happens as you need to read and see for yourself, but I will tell you that you won’t be disappointed.I totally enjoyed this series. I am ready for Zero Hours to see what will happen next.In the mean time I will be checking out other Lili’s books.I recommend you grab your copy and enjoy the ride.

If you are looking for a pretty love story with HEA written all over it, walk away now. This is not that book/series. It took all I had to muscle through the torture to the redemption. Thankfully the writing is so beautiful that it was like a salve to my soul. I cannot relate with just how F-d each of these characters truly are but my heart broke for each of them over and over as they tried so hard to get right. Kudos to the author’s imagination for the depravity that continued to pull my eyes to the screen. I thought I couldn’t take any more each time, but I lost it when (no spoilers here!) the call came in at “16!” Holy $H1T! But then again as Lili warned us: This story wasn’t a love story. This was a story about love, yes, but it wasn’t a love story. It was a story about vengeance, about redemption, about retribution. ... So so so true. Main reason why this wasn’t a five star read for me is personal. I literally get the hives when characters/people go back and forth keeping secrets from the people they love because they are so worried they aren’t going to accept them. Yeah, I get it, it’s my deal. Believe me, the movie Meet The Faulkers gives me the hives. So you can jmagine my flair up with Julz and Jase. Jesus H, just spill your baggage to each other—neither of you can win the One-Up award—you’re both jn it to win it. However, having said all that, this is an amazingly good read. I need a bit of a heart-soothing break before I can launch into more ugly but I definitely plan to go get the other books!

If you love your romance leaning more to the darkside (that's the side with sexy alpha males and strong amazing women) then this is the amazing series for you. From start to finish you are on pins and needles waiting to see the fall of the Gypsy Brother's. Please remeber that this book does have dark points in its plot. So what i am saying is that this is a trigger filled book. Don't read if you are sensitive. Juliette was born into a life filled with treachery but one thing she had was a dad that loved her. When her father is framed and she is left in the hands of Devil himself and his sons she never thought she would get her revenge. Now years later Juliette or rather Sammi will stop at nothing to get what she wants.Let me tell you guys a secret I didn't just read this book I devoured it. After the first book it was so hard to wait to the second and so on. When this book set came out I know i needed it that way I would never habe to wait for another one. It is raw, gritty, and animalistic. My kind of romance. I wanted to be right next Sammi as she fought her way back to the top. There were moments when i had to put my book down because it was intense but I couldn't leave it alone for long. Lili St. German became an instant favorite of mine. I was left emotionaly spent after this book that I still reread it every other month.

I read the Cartel series first and gave it 5 stars. Since I enjoyed that series I bought the Gypsy Brothers complete series. There are over 800 pages. I have read 300 pages and now realize I made a mistake. It has become monotonous and I have come to dislike Juliette. I find her character unbelievable. I know this is fiction but I hate when the female character is so stupid. I love a good MC book but I want there to be somewhat of a love story connected to it. Waste of my time and money.

Told in First persons pov. Contains dark and gritty scenes so not for the faint-hearted.

As I sit here sucking on a sugar free caramel sweet.....ive been thinking about my review for this series, THIS SERIES OWNED ME!!! I could not think of anything BUT these stories...and everything my poor friend Juliette went through (YES MY FRIEND) I felt so so bad for her made me cry and very f$%$%$# Angry.....Vengeance ...Hatred....Anger....Loathing......I could go on and on about how Juliette felt after SIX YEARS waiting and planning her return oh tht scene was awesome ..she is back and she will make them all pay one way or another ....ONE father SIX sons ...oh and did them Bastards pay.....This Series will have you leave this world and enter the life of Juliette Portland.....Juliette and Jase ...Jase and Juliette ...doesnt matter which way round it is ....this is no love story....This is Juliettes life and how she reclaims it wth the boy she loved all those years ago...Please if you love dark reads this book is for you.....

Incredible series. Truly. Dark, twisty, nasty, and ridiculously addictive reading!!I purchased this box set, for the incredible price, and also for the amazing bonus novella Alternate!That bonus novella, telling some scenes in reverse pov, of Dornan, Elliott, and Jase was incredible. There are only a few scenes from each, but they are really important scenes, and help to understand so much more about these three important characters from the series.Well worth buying, just for this bonus novella alone!! It made me want more of the series, I love the characters, story, and can't wait for Zero Hour!!!Must buy box set, and only 99c at the moment!!!If you have never read any of the Gypsy Brothers series, at 99c, this is well worth grabbing. I got this series as a set which was books 1-8 including Alternate so I have to review them as a whole set. I don’t have spoilers in my review but reading this series prepared to be shocked, surprised, disgusted, horrified, relieved, happy, exhausted and confused throughout!Firstly HOLY SHIZ that was intense! Now I’m no stranger to a dark romance novel however this is no romance novel and this seriously seriously dark. I was taken aback by the raw descriptive nature of the text however it really helped shaped the characters’ stories. I was completely engrossed and all I could think about was reading more, hoping for a HEA but knowing this was not the kind of book that felt like it would get one and I was ok with that.The build up in book one I found so refreshingly unique and I was hooked, I knew what Juliette endured but the description was horrific and like a train wreck I couldn’t not watch (or read that is)! I felt the pace was fast and the relationships felt real. I really liked Juliette, Jason and Elliott. It wasn’t really a love triangle but they were so intrinsically linked I just didn’t know how it would end between them all.Book 3 ‘Three Years’ was by far one of the hardest books I’ve EVER read (and read up to 200 books a year so that’s sying something!). The depravity was....just...urghhh I don’t even know the words. You just need to keep going but trust me it was tough and may seriously give you nightmares!I liked One Love however I was pleasantly surprised that there was more! Alternate was interesting and a good little addition and Zero Hour was the perfect ending. It wasn’t hearts and flowers but honestly after reading the whole series you can’t honestly expect that! The ending was good and I’m excited to read Luis’ and Elliott’s stories in their own books as well as reading The Cartel Series and the new Verona Beach book and that series.I can’t believe that Lili St Germain has written such a great series as her first set of novels! She is definitely going on my list of pre-approved novelists so I hope she keeps up the good work because it seriously is good work! I read A LOT of romance novels in all forms and this was such a great surprise.So glad to have read this, an easy 5* from me!

From the very beginning the author weaves a tale of twisted, heartless depravity that takes your breath away.Chapter after chapter you are left wondering how anyone could get through this and that things can't get any worse....and then they do. However much your stomach turns you are desperate to find out how it all ends and I'm so glad that I had the complete series as I'm not sure how I could have waited for the next book.Who knew that you could cheer on such horrible acts in the name of revenge but Lili's writing is so good that that is exactly how I felt (how disturbing).I recommend this series because it really is gripping and very well written, just be prepared to squirm!

So loved this series, I felt so much for Juliette could understand why she did what she did. But having already read Mariana and Dornan story, I bust be mad or insane but I liked Dornan. He loved Mariana, and she loved him, but then something happened (not telling) and she know longer did, she then fell in love with John Gorman best friend. So I feel for him, in a rage he did despicable things which lead to this series. He didn't stand a chance to turn from the darkness he had in him so I feel sorry for him and wish he could have had a happier ending, but knew he wouldn't get one.I would recommend anyone to read this series and the Cartel series and the epilogue which I'm about to do.

I loved this, really loved it.I just finished, so am talking in disjointed sentences, I hope I make sense.I was hooked from beginning to end.It was REALLY messed up, if you plan to read this you need a strong stomach.I love a good dark story and this was so DARK it required night vision goggles to see it in places!I won't explain the story in detail, I hate reviews that give the story away.It's a real rollercoaster of emotions, there are happy moments, but these are spread out amongst the other emotions.I have just finished it and I think it could have left the biggest book hangover possible. It is VERY violent, if you don't like violence in books, don't read this.I will read more by this author, I like her style!Seven Sons 5*Six Brothers 5*Five Miles 5*Four Score 5*Three Years 5*Two Roads 5*One Love 5*That's 35* :)

This series has been an outstanding read from start to finish. I don't tend to read MC books but I stumbled upon Seven Sons by accident and devoured the whole series one book after another. The characters and story line were perfect and although there were some scenes that I found tough to read they were necessary to understand what was happening in the series and also definitely added to the angst. I think the difference to this MC series is that Juliette was the lead character and her story was gripping. A series that I would totally recommend and I'd like to thank the author for including the novella Alternate in this bundle as it was great to get an insight into the main male characters in the series.

Alternate :if you thought for one second alternate was going to make us hate these men, then you were wrong !!!I love them even more nowHoly cow Jase ? Ok so I'm done with all the books and all I can say is what an amazing series this has been. It is brutal and harsh, but with love and care popping in to take a peep now and then, to make you feel that there is some good people in this world. These books hold all your attention and you simply cannot put them down, they are addictive. You just have to know what is going to happen in the next chapter/book.What can you say about Dornan Ross ? Evil, cruel vindictive man, you hate him with a passion. Loved Julz and Jase. This was a re- read of the whole series in preparation for Zero Hour which is the next book in the Gyspy Brothers series and is about Jase and Julz and what happened to them after we left them in One Love.So looking forward to that one. Well done Lili Saint Germain for an excellant hard hitting passionate series !!

This book was by far the darkest most messed up romance I've ever read, but I absolutely loved it. I'll be honest here, for a moment I wasn't sure I was going to be able to finish this book. I'd just got through some truly horrifying scenes then found myself on a chapter where everything was going great for the hero and heroine. I looked at how many pages were left and my stomach lurched because there was still a long way to go. That meant there had to be more difficult scenes to come and by that point I was truly hoping for some happiness for Jase and Julz. Fortunately I did read on and I'm so glad I did because even though there were more difficult scenes to go, it was worth the ride. I'd recommend this book to any fans of dark romance and I will definitely read more books by Lili St Germain.

An amazing series from beginning to end. Juliette/Sammi is out for revenge on the man who took her life and the life of her father. Plotting sweet revenge in the most dangerous way. Juliette/Sammi finds her way into the lives of Dorman Ross and his Seven Sons, to live among them while plotting the downfall of each and every one. Some disturbing and evil scenes throughout the story. With some new added bonus scenes from characters, Dornan Ross, Elliott McRae and Jason Ross these give us a different side to these characters. what we'd all been waiting for, a glimpse into Jase's past, after "Juliette" had died, the life that Jase was forced to endure at the hands of his Father and Brothers to prove he was one of them, a Gypsy Brother. A must read for fans of the Dark side.

If you are looking for a love story then walk away now. Yes there is love between Juliette and Jase. But this book is a far cry from a love story.It’s morbid, brutal, bloody, vile, revenge, vengeful,dark. Dornan is something else . The torture he puts Juliette through is absolute hell.

My first introduction to Lili St. Germain and I loved the series.It mixes the seedier side of an MC with a true love story. It's difficult not to fall for Jules and Jase after living their experiences. Dornan's character is written so that at some stages one finds oneself futily hoping that he has had a change of heart for the better.Gypsy Brothers has it all; MC life, ink, intrigue, revenge, scheming, adversity and first and enduring love.Loved the alternate viewpoints at the end of the set.Can't wait for the follow-up to be released.
