PT Platinum (Made by Seidio) Genuine Leather Case for Apple iPhone 5 and 5s - Black

This product would be described as "ok", by me.It was a great price, and is as described. However, the quality of the "genuine leather" leaves quite a bit to be desired. It is thin, and doesn't have a "genuine" feel. I actually expect it to wear out fairly quickly with regular use in and out of a pocket.That being said, it is thin, and fit the phone. The "port" to access the silent switch isn't cut very well on the one I received, and makes it very difficult to turn on (I don't have long fingernails, but I imagine it would make functioning the switch easier with this case on).It works for my purposes, but I haven't been overly impressed with it.

Exactly what I wanted and happy with my purchase except for two things...the volume buttons are covered rather than exposed with this however it does not prevent you from being able to use them, not a major issue just difficult to get used to, and one of the top corners is pulling away after only a very short amount of time (like almost immediately after I began using it) but is not deteriorating rapidly. I had a brown one on my old iPhone that I used for years and it never did that so I'm not sure how this one will wear but it serves it's purpose.

This is probably one of the slimmest leather iPhone cases out there. Apple works hard to make the phone design slim, why put on a bulky case to defeat the original purpose? This case is constructed of plastic with a thin layer of leather on top. The leather feels genuine and handles wear and tear well. I have the case on m phone for about 3 months now, and there's no visible sign of wearing. Unlike may other cases having a cut on the side to expose the volume buttons, this case covers the buttons with a the thin layer of leather - a nice solution.

Nice looking and feels good in the hand, but it does not completely protect the top and bottom of the phone. If the phone hits something at the wrong angle, the case will not absorb any of the shock or keep the phone from being nicked.If the corners of the case were extended a little more, the case would do the job.

Very nice quality but very slippery. The 1st one that I owed (same company) felt more like leather and was not so ready to jump out of my hand. Hoping it will get less slippery with wear.

Not much of a case ... Although it's leather, and looks okay, it's not of much benefit. It adds little in the way of protection or aesthetics. The packaging is however quite lovely and very beautifully designed. That said, the contents is not nearly as nice as the box. For the same price, I purchased another much more effective and stylish leather cover.

This is a great product. I have been using it for a month now. Not sure if the leather is real but it works. The texure feels good
