Peavey PVXpSub Powered Subwoofer

These speakers put out excellent sound and are very durable , since I use them weekly and set up and take down frequently .

I have purchased 2 of these + 2 PVXp-15's. A process of going out and DJ'ing. Love the Sub. I love Bass and these subs deliver the goods. Even the PVXp-15's are a great speaker.The bottom bass is fantastic for what I want. They are heavy as most subs are. In saying that in comparison to other Sub's they are on the lighter side. They do come with locking rollers. So once on the ground they easily move around.I just started this epiphany on getting into DJ'ing. I was in a band so my perception of high end quality sound was based on that years ago.I have done a couple of outdoor venues. Honestly people hearing the sound from afar though in fact it was a live band.Maybe over time and use my opinion may be more pragmatic. But now I can't say enough about these Subs.Don't forget to register on line you extend the warranty by 4 more years.You can also sign up for e-mails which are not the least bit intrusive.

unfortunately, i bought two (2) of these and on receiving them tested them at home for the first time today, and got a shock one (1) of the 15 inch woofer has no sound coming out of it at all, the horn produces sound but nothing from the woofer, wanted to replace my behringers bd215 with these but sadly have to keep using them for now, i have emailed amazon, don't know what the reply is gonna be , ( on the return page says they can't be return, not sure what that means) peavey does have a one year warranty on speakers, so am hoping for a smooth transition... i gave three stars cause the one that plays sounds really good

These sound great for light music playback in a backyard casual party situation. I love them for easy listening outdoors. The highs and mids are crystal clear and sound fantastic. I send music through a pv6 mixer and highs will go to piercing levels quickly if not careful with mixer eq. The sound carries a very long distance. Music is not loud but can be heard a hundred yards out. The bass is extremely light. It is not, in my opinion, satisfactory for a dj setup without a sub. The significant lack of bass is only weak point I can think of.

These speakers were recommended to me by gentleman working in customer service, Peavey, Inc. Great sounding speakers. The 3rd party merchant, HiFiSoundConnection, provides quick ordering, and excellent tracking when you purchase from them. Good deal. Enjoy this excellent speaker. I purchased the 12 inch speaker.

These sound pretty good for the money. I would highly recommend them as monitors. I have used these as tops with subs for a live band at small venues, but I would consider it a budget solution at best. They would have trouble pushing a bigger venue. I find the sound more muffled and sterile than more expensive powered speakers, but what can you really expect at this price point. Ive never been a huge fan of peavey, but these things good for what they are.

I've loved my peavey impulse 12d PA speakers for the last three years. This sub is the perfect fit with my peavy impulse 12d, best sound ever ! Very happy. Sturdy design , feels indestructible. Wheels work great for transporting, makes it easier to take everywhere.
