Imysty Womens Summer Polka Dot V Neck Button Down Loose Mini Dress

I'm always looking for a casual summer dress that does not need hemming. I came across this cute dress and thought I'd give it a try. My usual size is XL but I was unsure this dress would be too big, so I order both sizes, one in the pattern and one solid. The solid dress is made of very cheap, very scratchy polyester (the stuff from my childhood, too hot to wear in summer and the material really absorbed body odors). The patterned dress is made with polyester but with added Rayon and Spandex, YAY!! Very soft to the feel with a nice drape. AND no hemming!! The L fit me best, tiny pucker at the top button, but nothing major as long as it launders well. I'm 5'4" with 41 inch bust. So I've bought 3 of the pattern dresses. These will carry me well into fall just add boots instead of sandals!!

Beautiful dress, fits loose enough to feel comfortable and allow for movement, it can be worn casually with sandals when out running errands or just around the house, throw on a cardigan or elbow length blazer and heels or flats and it looks dressier, I have about 4 of these in different colors and I wear them to church or to a restaurant or whatever. It also hides body imperfections, because of the design and if you’re in an older age category such as I am it covers my belly and disappearing waist line cause I’m 70 years old in this picture and its not easy finding dresses that look age appropriate, comfortable and pretty which is why I pair them with dress shoes and a cardigan or blazer. Color is beautiful and has not faded. I would highly recommend this dress.

I do like this dress and I bought it in the light blue color as in the main photo. Some things to note are that it’s not especially sheer or see through, but you can’t wear black leggings, bike shorts, shapewear etc under it because it WILL show through. Also, when I sit down, the slit at the bottom where the buttons come together show my upper thighs more than I’m comfortable with. I always wear bike shorts with dresses, so you can definitely see them when I sit down. The fabric of the dress feels a bit cheap and it wrinkles like crazy also. I’ll keep it because it’s not a bad silhouette and I’m sure I’ll find a use for it, it’s just not the everyday sundress I’d hoped for.

I love this dress!!! I've put on a couple of pounds during this covid mess and was tired of trying to stuff myself into shorts and tees that no longer fit. This dress is adorable!! It's super comfortable and a great summer dress. I feel put together when I go out to the store or wherever. For reference, I'm 5'1" and weigh around 120 now. I ordered the small. It's perfect. The hem is about two inches above my knee. My bust is 34C and it's not tight in the bust. I do wear a short, full slip under it because I think it's a little see through (I'm 57 so no one want to see it anymore!). Also, don't expect couture for this price. The hem is not turned. It's a cute, fun dress for the price. I'm buying another in a different color.

I’m 5’4, 145lbs, 34C and wear pant size 8. I ordered dresses in both small and a medium because I was worried the dress would look too boxy on me. The dress prints are really cute. That’s probably my favorite thing about it. They both fit fine, but I noticed on the small, the way the shoulders were cut made my arms look fatter and more awkward. In that way, it’s true to size and I would keep the medium (which is what I usually wear anyway). I don’t think the shapeless boxy look is that nice on me because of the way it goes over my boobs, but a belt helped with the look in my opinion. The reason I gave this a 2 is because out of the box, the dress was already badly frayed. All along the seams, lots of threads are poking out. If it was just one or two, I wouldn’t mind, but there are a LOT of threads all over the place. Even with hand washing, I don’t see how this dress would last. The quality reminds me of low end forever 21 items, or even worse, honestly. The dress is inexpensive, but it’s not so inexpensive that I would want to buy or keep something of this quality. It’s cute, but unfortunately, it will be returned.

Pretty cute for the price and worth it even if it only lasts a few washings… made of very thin material so it’s cool but don’t know how it will hold up. Also while a medium is usually plenty roomy for me this is a bit snug in the bust, so I decided to sew it closed between the top three buttons so it doesn’t gape.

This is a great dress Free flowing and vey comfortable. Light weight. Size is as described. Go with your usual size. I am 5’, 4” tall and weigh 157 lbs. Size large was perfect. I will buy another colour as well.
