Don’t overheat
I ruined 2 because I followed instructions for Cricut ceramic coasters and not for these thinner ones. When overheated the color blows out, the finish turns extremely spotty and scratchy. I have a clamshell type heat press, I discovered that 400 degrees for 60 seconds gives a great transfer with minimal damaged to the finish. They do have a vintage colored look to them (I used photos someone had text me of their vacation). I wouldn’t use tape because it always seems to leave lines and it looks horrible. These are VERY thin but All in all, for the price (on sale for under $9) they will make a nostalgic Christmas gift.

Sort of Flimsy
The coasters looked pretty, but I don’t think they will last. The cork is extremely thin and I’m not sure they will be very absorbent. I made these a a gift for a therapist friend. I prefer the Cricut ceramic coasters and wish I had used those.

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews on this product. I consistently pay a minimum of $5 less for these than on the Cricut website. They sublimate well with bright colors at 400 degrees for 60 seconds. They are meant to protect your furniture and they do that with a cork bottom. They don't need to be thick which seems to be the major complaint.
