I purchased this in order to vlog with my gopro and use the filter and audio attachments. It works well, although it does add extra weight to the setup. It does give a sturdier feel to the gopro and I feel that it does a good job at protecting it. I like the fact that I can now use lens filters as well, that is why I purchased this unit.

This product shipped to me very quickly and right out of the package, I was very impressed! It’s well built and a great fit for my GoPro hero 7. I needed a case that would also hold the GoPro mic adapter and this one, with its aluminum housing, was a great buy!

So it's not meant to be a water resistant cage it's a vlog set up. That being said it is not light and I have it set up on my helmet to record my driving. But this Is an amazing case and great for vloging. The addition of the uv filter and cover were a welcome surprise and make the quality of the picture even better.

This is a great cage for those who need to use an external mic with their GoPro. It keeps the adapter out of the way, and most importantly, the screw on the side keeps the cable in the right position, and prevents excessive force from damaging the cable or the port. It's sturdy and sleek and works great!

This actually works super well. It holds the mic input dongle great. I was shocked at how well its built.My only issue is it has the brand name of the product huge on the front in white font. I used a sharpie marker to cover it up!

As expected. It is just perfect for my need, I use the housing on my GP hero 6 with the mic adapter and a Rode Micro, the sound of the clips have improved 100%... fully recommended!!! I already pimped out my set :)

super sturdy. no loose parts but really heavy. wanted this for vlogging but won't be able to hold this up for long.

These CNC aluminium frames are popping up all over. They hold the GoPro snugly and give you several attach points. The added piece that holds the audio dongle is a great addition. Also, I had a different brand of frame and the dongle box fit it as well, so if you are just looking for the audio dongle bit, it will probably fit an existing CNC frame. IMO these are the best way to keep your GoPro safe. And you can add filters, upping your video artistic quality.

Well made and does what it's intended for. My compliant is that it is too darn heavy because it's milled aluminum. These things need to be made out of lightweight plastic.

Case is amazing, but my lens was broken when I received it.
