Fleur de Sel de Camargue in Refillable Ceramic Jar

This salt is terrific for finishing meats and poultry, more coarse than Kosher salt, so it sort of melts across the surface. I picked up this packaging for a friend when we were in France and liked it so much that I found a place here in the U.S. that imports it. We used this salt in the past, but bought it in a round cardboard box. This little crock looks great on the counter and is a bit easier to access (lid stays attached) when you need to open it and season a dish. The amount enclosed lasts us about two years. (We cook with kosher salt and just use this for final seasoning.)There's a little wooden spoon attached to the side of the crock, which will keep you from putting your greasy fingers in the salt, which you know you want to.
