Wrong battery type, not a bad mirror
Description claims it runs on AA batteries. The instructions say AAA. Wish this would stuck to my wall but it won't. Still a good mirrir and the snaller 5x one is a good addition

AWFUL BURN AND FIRE HAZARD
AWFUL. HORRIBLE. Never turned on. Made the batteries so hot I got SECOND DEGREE BURNS just taking them out after only 2 minutes in.

Great bright mirror
I really like this mirror the light is bright and is dimmable. The ×5 little mirror attaches to the back of the mirror for storage and can attach to the middle of the front mirror. It's great to do your eyebrows

Conceptually wonderful but substandard implementation
Weighing the price versus all the nifty features, this product is an incredible sensational and inspired bargain. Unfortunately it failed to endure. I've had it 3 months and the light no longer works at all. When I got the device I promptly threw away the USB cable because of the oddball location I would be placing it I knew it would be battery powered or not at all. I primarily purchased it for the mirror function and rarely if ever used the light. I would have kept the USB cable if the arrangement was for the batteries to be rechargeable by that means but the batteries are not rechargeable. Occasionally I would play with the light anyway. After some number of weeks the light became flaky, sometimes failing to turn on, sometimes failing to dim. When it worked it worked strong and is an admirable feature. Now after just 3 months I am never ever able to get the light to come on. The batteries in there are as good as new because I know how little I have utilized them. Unless of course the unit suffers from a slow current leakage. It isn't too unusual in cheaply-made electronic products to suffer from that, often due to an inadvertent solder bridge on a printed circuit board. Or a switch is bad. I cannot be sure why but the dang product no longer works after 3 short months. I am not a happy camper.
