Perfect way to add wifi to my garage.
I have a detached garage and I'm constantly having issues with the wifi, this solved it. I have ceiling mounted outlets for things like my garage door, and this was small enough to plug in and not take both outlets. It connected up to my AC wifi signal in the house and now I have zero issues with all my little devices in the garage. Like my opener, door alarms, security camera, and if I happen to be streaming music on my phone.Setup took like 5 minutes to be a basic AP (one of 3 modes). Took longer for me to find a step ladder! The only blemish on this product is the included Ethernet cable. It is totally worthless. I think there was a defect in the cable manufacturer, the cable was labeled Cat 5e, but the inside wires were not twisted, nor copper. This led to a 10-mbit connection. So I replaced it with a cable of my own and it fully connected at 1gbit.

Triple the WiFi Range!
This WiFi extender works very well. I have used this for 2 weeks now. I have used this both as a WiFi extender and as an additional router.Setup is not very difficult. I was a little impatient with my initial setup attempt and failed to connect it to my network properly. I reached out to the seller and they back to me quickly with and told me how to correct my mistake. I was able to reset the WiFi extender and get it setup correctly.Once I had the WiFi extender setup correctly, I was able to use it to triple my WiFi signal. (Note: this requires creating a second WiFi network so that it does not have a conflict with the main router.) I was able to locate the extender in my garage, which is about 40 feet from the main router. The signal indicator on the front of the unit is very useful in ensuring that there is good connection to the main router. Once the extender was in place, I used a WiFi analyzer app to detect the signal strength as I moved away from the extender. I was able to get sufficient signal up to 200 feet away from the extender. (This was outdoors and in a metal pole barn that blocks my other Wifi completely.) I am very satisfied with the performance as an extender.I am currently using this as an extra router. It was very simple to switch it from WFi Extender mode to Router mode. Just change the selector switch on the side and plug the Ethernet cable into the WAN port on the bottom. (The network settings remain the same so there is no need to do anything else.) I am using it as a router in my pole barn and now have strong WiFi coverage for more than an acre between my main router and this one.I am very happy with this purchase.

Easy to set up and operate.
I have a metal building about thirty feet from my house that I use for a workshop and garage.I have never been able to get a decent wifi signal out there even in front of a window. I figured that withthe low price of this repeater it was worth a try.The device was so easy to set up. I plugged it into a wall socket, turned it on and waited for the blue signalStrength LED’s to light. The first time I did this I only had two blue lights, which may have worked, but when I chose a different wall socket and fiddled with the antennas I had all three indicator LED’s lit. I opened myphones wifi settings tab and connected to the CF-WR754AC-5G network. I then followed the on-screenprompts and in less than five minutes I had a strong wifi signal in the building for the first time ever. The signal strength LED’s on the front were very helpful in choosing a location for the unit. The unit basicallyconfigures itself . No need to worry about wireless channel settings, DHCP or anything else.UNLESS YOU EANT TO then there are many settings available which may be user configured. It turns outthat this is a fairly powerful system. My cell phone has never worked out there but with this repeater and a Verizon extender I now havecell phone service and 4-g data on the phone. This is really nice because our cordless phones wouldn’twork out there either. With most phones these days supporting wifi calling I probably didn’t need theextender but that is my setup. This wifi device isn’t just a repeater! It can be set up as an access point or even a router. I have yetto try this but I intend to in the near future. One last thing…Many times in hotels I have had to hunt around for the best spot to get a decent signal and speed.I can’t wait to try this repeater the next time I go out of town. If it works as well as I think then I’llget another for my “Go Bag”.I have been using this device for almost two weeks with no problems so far. I shut off power to the buildingboth for just a second or two as well as for about an hour and both times the unit rebooted and broughtitself back on line. The only negative thing that I can say so far is that it pretty much takes up both sockets on a standard US120 volt socket. Again, it was easy to set up and has worked flawlessly. I highly recommend this devicebecause of its great price, ease of setup and performance.

Very capable network device!
This product is sold as a range extender, but it's also an access point and a router, so it really is a 3-in-1 device! Setup is easy, seller is responsive to questions, all-round great experience with this device. Got it set up in less than 5 minutes and it provides great coverage. Very useful as a wifi router too, just attach a switch to it and you can do wired networking, or not, and keep it as a wifi-only router. I really like the small form factor also - see attached image how it compares to my hand.

Easy to setup. Has Access Point, Repeater, and Router modes.
I bought this to use strictly as a repeater to extend my wireless network, but I like the fact I can use it as an access point or a router also. This is very easy to setup as a repeater: Make sure side switch is in repeater position, plug in to power, wait a minute or two, then connect your cell phone, laptop or tablet wifi to COMFAST_0113_2G (or 5G) , then open browser to 192.168.10.1, the page asks you to set a password, it goes through a connection with the repeater then asks you to select a network to repeat, you can set the repeated network names for 2.4G and 5.8G then you enter the network access password for the wifi that you are repeating, click save setting the unit reboots and you have an extended network in 2.4G and 5.8G, its that easy. There also is a nice little LED receive strength meter on the front of the unit to help you know if you are too far away from the network that you are trying to extend. I did not try the other modes since I do not have a use from them.
