CICN Cooling Towel Quick-Drying Towel Two-Tone Cold Towel (1, Black)

July 22, 2019****Full Disclaimer: I am writing this review before I've actually USED the towels. ****~ These came on time, I cannot complain about that. Although somehow they took 3 days instead of 2 (as in 2 day free Prime shipping), I did know that upon ordering.Upon arrival and first inspection, however, I'm bordering on disappointed. I ordered these based on Susan's answer and the 12x40 size she stated in her answer to someone's question. That is perfect size for the entire family (I ordered a different set for a trip to Disney last August!). I wanted another set to be able to send one (or two) with my daughter each day of her horseback riding camp, because they are 100% outside and it has been HOT as all get out here lately. This set was slightly less expensive and had 6 towels rather than 4 of the other set, they looked identical by pictures, and if they were the same size .. it was a no brainer, right?Welp ... comparing to the ones I had gotten last year (here's a link if you care to look: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072VDT1R2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1_), I can tell you they are NOT identical. For starters, these are a whole lot thinner than the first order. Now, this MAY be a positive, as it may make them lighter weight and more comfortable to wear in the heat. However, it will also mean they hold less water. The concept only works if they are wet, since they cool via evaporation, so cooling time will be shorter. It also might mean that they don't hold up as well to wear and tear. Additionally, mine are only 11.5 inches by 30.25 inches. Granted, the only measurement I could find (because I looked!) was in Susan's answer to a question asking what the measurements are, so that's not an "official answer" on size. Lastly, and this seems like I'm nitpicking, but for me, it is an issue, there is no tag on the cloths. Not that I need a huge tag, but a small little tag to label it as my daughter's makes life a whole lot easier. Yes, I could write on them with perm marker (or fabric marker), but I prefer to use the labels we already have for that purpose. For adult use this is not an issue (usually), as we can (typically) keep track of our own stuff. However, this is an 8 year old taking them to camp (and I'm sure elsewhere as well), with plenty of other kids. I'd rather them have her name on them so they can easily be returned.All that being said, I am not planning to return them. I am hoping they will hold up for the 3 remaining weeks of my daughter's camp and if they do, I'll be happy. As I am sending them with my 8 year old, the less expensive variety is preferred and the smaller size doesn't make a difference for her smaller body. They have continuous access to water to re-wet them as she needs to. If she looses them ... well ... that will stink, but again, the lower expense is preferred on that point too.Will update after we have the chance to put them to the test!

There are a variety of colors and they each come in their own sealed package. I like using these on a hot day or in a workout class. They are pretty long in length. I had a hard time understanding the instructions which seem like they were originally written in a language other than English.

This towel is a cooling towel however I only use mine as a drying towel while at the gym. The instructions were a little confusing for me on how to activate the coolness of the towel.

The towels are a nice bright color and lightweight fabric. They are very flexible and soft, different than other “sponge-like” cooling towels. They are not as absorbent as the popular brand of cooling towels, but do seem to keep cold for a good amount of time when outside.

Great item! We use these at track meets. I wet them and put them in the cooler and hand them to my kids when they finish their races to cool down. Works great!

There are many styles to choose from.Quality is also good,satisfaction.The texture of the towel is very good,Strong water absorption.

Bought this for my husband to use when he cuts the grass. It works very well. He wets the towel and puts it around his neck. It really makes a difference. The towel is well made. There are no loose threads or missing stitches. We bought the aqua color. I wash it in warm water on the normal cycle and hang to dry. It dries very quickly. It hasn’t shrunk and holds up well.Update 7/5/2019 - I liked this towel so well that I bought an additional towel. It is just as great as the first one. Hightly recommend.

I’ve started working out again and was getting so annoyed by how sweaty I was getting, and how sweaty my clothes were because I kept wiping my face off with my shirt (gross I know). I saw this and figured for the price I could give it a try. SO happy I did! It soaks up all my forehead and neck sweat with no issue, and I can usually go 2 days before I need to throw it in the wash. If you’re sweaty like me, buy this.
