MacBook 12 Sleeve, Snugg - Black Leather Sleeve Case Protective Cover for MacBook 12

This is a nicely designed product at a good price. I have hard plastic shell on my MacBook, and it still fits into this case nicely.I carry two lap tops in my back pack, and use this to provide cushion between them. I also use this case on it's own when I'm just bringing the 12" Macbook, but not any chargers or adapters. When I'm bringing charges and adapter, I have the Amazon Basics 14" laptop and Tablet bag, which is nice, but overly klarge for the 12" Macbook unless I have a file folder of papers too.When I use the Mac on the train, I put this case across my lap with the Mac on top of it so I don't have to stash the case on the train floor or in the seat next to me.

VERY NICE! I had just purchased one of the new 12" MacBooks and was looking for a case to protect it and found this. It is a very sturdy case and seems to be made quite well. It is thin enough that it does not make the laptop bulky and is stylish enough to carry anywhere. There is no place for accessories but with a long lasting battery with the MacBook and lack of many external devices due to the USB-C connector, there is really no need to carry anything else anyway.

I was concerned my very tiny and fragile Mcbook 12 would slip out too fast for me to prevent dropping it, so I got it the plastic cover another company makes for them and salvaged an old Multi-Level enrollment package to slip that into for moving about, or a bag with handles in quilted polyester, gray, that it fits into nicely with charge cord and USB C cord.I returned this one for seeming dangerous to the computer to me.

Nice sleeve, but is roomy for the 12 inch MacBook. This is obviously just a rebranded 11 inch MacBook Air sleeve. There is a centimeter of space between the close lid in the top of the MacBook as a reference and my first picture. And I could stick my thumb between the MacBook and the edge of the sleeve in the second picture. I would have paid more to have a more custom fit sleeve for the new MacBook. Otherwise nice quality for the price.

I've used this case for my travel laptop about 2 years. It's a nice case. My MacBook 12 Retina fits perfectly (snug as a rug) and it's very lightweight. It has started to tear on the lower corners where the laptop puts stress on the material. It's not leather (not be be expected for a sub $20 case?) but I still expected it to last longer than 2 years. I contacted the manufacturer asking about the lifetime warranty. I got a quick reply. Asked me to send my receipt (which I had). Shortly thereafter, I received an apology that they cannot do anything because I purchased the case from a different seller (Snuggg and not TheSnug). They only honor the warranty if purchased directly from them (even though they are the manufacturer). They said that I could have a counterfeit. Seriously? It's not like this is a Tumi!!! So in the trash it goes and I'll try another case. My honest opinion is that it's a good case for the money and would still recommend it. Just buy it under the assumption there is no lifetime warranty.

This case is anything but snugg covering the 12 inch MacBook... I placed my MacBook in this sleeve and was very disappointed. The case could have been much smaller had it been designed for the new Retina MacBook. This is pretty clearly a re-labeled case that was designed for another laptop - probably a MacBook Air. There is an inch of space and more on the top and side. The Macbook had plenty of room to slide all over the place in it.I bought the Retina MacBook because Apple spent an enormous amount of effort to make it as small as possible without compromise. Why should I compromise on a case that was made for a different laptop? It defeats the purpose. You end up carrying a case (the MacBook in the case) that is as way bigger than what you need.All this being said, it's a beautiful and well designed case. That's the most frustrating part. It's really nice - for a different laptop.

Received promptly and well packaged. This slim case offers a safe, secure way in which to protect the new Macbook 12-inch when carrying the device alone or stowing the device in a larger bag. There is a back pocket for papers, but anything else--the charger, adapters, external drives, cords, external CD/DVD--must be carried separately. This case also keeps your device secure when carrying it in another device bag, such as a briefcase or laptop bag, which is important since this laptop is so much tinier than most others and would just bounce around in those bag sections made for laptops. I purchased mine in black as that was the only color available on Amazon when I bought it. Although, not leather, which is fine by me, the bag is very well made and the material looks like leather and shows no evidence of wear. When I need another bag (if I need another bag), I will purchase another one of these.

Read lots of reviews and debated which case to get for my new 2015 MacBook Retina - this one seemed the right choice and I was right! Great design, snug fit, great added features (such as space for charging connector while closed and business card holder) - also was pleased to see a separate back pocket that allows me to slide my iPad Air in along WITH the Mac Book. Makes for a perfect combo case! Construction seems well done - both materials and stitching.
