Perfect Introduction to Quareia
If your new to Quareia this is the first book you should read. It explains how the course is structured and what you need to know as a beginner to get you started. It discusses problems that new students experience and gives guidance where necessary. The book is easy to understand, the author writes beautifully and removes any unnecessary dressings, she gets straight to the core of what is really important.

Essential reading.
Essential guide if you’re doing the course. Without it people will keep asking the same questions. The Quareia course has been put on the internet free of charge. The least we can do is support them by purchasing books. Josephine is an excellent Author as well.

A great introduduction to the Quareia Course
I have been studying the occult for some time now, having read over 80 books on occultism, hermeticism, the esoteric side of the great religions of the world, Theosophy, mysticism, and writings by different societies like Rosicrucianism and Freemasonry. And then I found Quareia.Where I had written off almost all of the modern books and teachers, I was quite suprised when I started to pick up on the signs leading me in this direction, and started looking into Quareia. The more I looked into it, the clearer it became that this isn't just one of the many superficial profit driven things, but actually the real deal!I learned to my suprise that the Quareia Course is open to every earnest seeker on the Path, is written in a very understandable and down to earth way that speaks to us of the 21st century, and is devoid of dogma, hierarchies, religion and stripped of all the unnesesary fluff. That's a tall order, as anyone who is familiar with the classical and older occult works could attest. All the things that I read about Quareia and Josephine McCarthy made me decide to buy this book, which I consider a great introduction before diving into the Quareia Course itself. By now I have also purchased all the nescesary books for the Quareia Course, as well as the beautiful LXXXI Deck, which is also a great way to support Josephine in her work.Though make no mistake: this is the real deal, so don't dive into Quareia out of mere curiousity or for the sole hunger for personal gain and fame. That's not what this is all about. Joining and studying under one of the Mystery Schools is a life changing decision that should not be taken lightly. It will take many years to study, and a lifetime to master. Through the course the student is prepared to participate in what Josephine calls the Great Work, I really like that. The Quareia Course is written and intended to be studied in the exact order of the lessons, and for good reason as will become clear when you read the Quareia Apprentice Study Guide. Even the experienced practicioner will soon find him/ her self locked out of the magical patterns of Quareia if the proper order of lessons are not adhered to. This is akin to starting a university study: you don't just barge in to demand a five minute explanation and expect to walk away with a degree. These things take time, much time, hard work and patience. So if you are seriously considering to follow the Quareia Course, you would do well to start of with reading the Apprentice Study Guide, as it will make many things clear to you and start you off with the right mindset before going all in. This book is mostly about the Apprentice section of the study, though aspects of the Initiate and Adept section are also mentioned and explained.Like starting any construction, the foundation is perhaps the most important thing, because on that the entire house will have to be build. If the foundations are weak or insufficient, the building will be at risk of eventually coming down. That seems to be the main task of the Apprentice section and to some extend the Initiate section. It forms the foundational training required for your magical training and future work to rest upon. If things ever go south, all you have to fall back on is your training. So don't take any short cuts and put in the time and efford required, and you'll get there. In this book Josephine explaines that the Apprentice section is perhaps the hardest part of the study. This is because only after you have finished the Apprentice section and can prove you have done the nescesary work, you are allowed into mentorship for the Initiate and Adept parts of the study. This way the mentors have a student with a strong foundation they can work with. But until then, you are on your own. This is your first test, to see if you got what it takes, and this Apprentice Study Guide will no doubt often come in handy on your journey.
