OHTO Ceramic Roller Refill 0.7mm C-307P-Black (Japan Import)

Original quality ink refill from Japan. Came encased in the packing with seal and then additionally wrapped for shipment to preserve it well. The water based ink works well on most paper, of course more porous paper tends to feather the ink when writing, but it dries fast on denser paper as well. The color is a bold black which contrasts nicely on ivory or bleached papers. I tend to journal for hours and the special barrel contributes to its reliability and consistency. The .7 mm is my personal favorite as it has a balance between writing fluidity and changes in wiring style for more decorative writing.

Fit and works just fine !

Im using this refill in a Tactile Turn standard side click pen. This refill is the perfect size for this pen, no trimming or taping necessary, no wobble from the needle, its a perfect fit. It glides smoothly on paper, and overall I would say this writes "OK". I am still on my first day using this refill, however I have had a couple instances where the ink skips, or will stop completely for about a word and a half while writing. I'm not sure if it needs a little bit of writing to break it in, but I would say that a high quality refill like this should be ready to go out of the gate. On a personal note, the ink is not as dark as others I have seen, although nothing that would impact legibility, just a lighter shade of black, maybe more like a dark graphite color. The packaging was excellent for this product, and I have no doubts this could be tossed into any sort of box or envelope and mailed without damage.

Great value for money. Writes very well. Not sure on longevity but the initial testing it writes a nice deep black.

I want to like this refill because I like the .5mm version of the ohtu ceramic roller quite a bit. But the .7mm doesn’t work so good- the ink doesn’t flow that well, it skips. See my picture- at the top of every stroke there’s a dry bit of the line where the ink hasn’t started coming out yet. I got two of them and they’re both like this. Makes the pen hard to use, honestly. It feels nice when it does work though.

I tried a German brand refill that I had to return, but this is perfect. I don’t like a wide point, and certainly don’t want the roller to skip pre scratch as sometimes happens with a fine point. I wish blue ink had been available, but other than that this OHTO refill is perfect

I ordered this refill to replace a 0.5mm filler. I like the 0.7mm refill much better. Ink flow is nice and smooth. These Ohto fillers have a smaller diameter tip than standard rollerball refills, so it is important to order an Ohto refill for an Ohto pen body.

After looking a long time for a refill to fit my Uniball 500 pen, which no longer exists, I am overjoyed that this refilll fits and I can use my beloved pen again.
