American Tumbler 4 Pack - Assorted Lid Colors

I like the size of these and the fact that they come with caps. However, the description says they are dishwasher safe. Within the first week of using 2 sets of these half of them got a film on them which none of our other glassware did from the dishwasher. I would not recommend putting them in the dishwasher if you want them to look clean. This did not happen to my smaller cocktail size Tervis tumbers which I put in the dishwasher also. I was hopeful as these had good reviews and were made in USA but I think I will replace them with the Tervis brand in the future.

I like the T brand tumbler but at 10 plus bucks each, buying ten at a time can get expensive. And the lids are sold seperately. So based on reviews, I decided to try these. Happy I did! Other than the writing on the bottom, there is not any difference. Same sturdy tumbler at a fraction of the price. Plus you get the lids thrown in. Just the lids for the T brand cost more than this tumbler that already comes with lids. These are also made in the USA, lifetime warranty and dishwasher safe. I am not sure if they are microwave safe but I don't put mine in the microwave so that's not a issue for me.*Update After just a week, I had two tumblers that started having moisture problems between the walls. I go on the AmericanTumbler.com website to get them replaced under their lifetime warranty. There wasn't a phone number or any way to get up with them on the website at the time I downloaded the form. I download the form, take them to the post office and expect my two replacement's in 6-8 weeks. Well, it's the end of August and I still haven't seen any replacements and this was months ago! Very unhappy!

I like them and even though I was washing them out by hand they developed a film and I have used everything to get the film off with no success. I think it is because I drink a lot of water with fruit in it....maybe?? So...since they developed the film I started putting them in the dishwasher on top rack only. I know they are clean but someone else using them for the first time might frown upon using them. Love the lids and they were way cheaper than Tervis tumblers. Even the Tervis tumblers develop the film.

The tumblers are as expected; and, are great on a humid day to prevent an iced beverage from sweating on the outside of the glass. The lids seemed like a good idea but are difficult to get on and off; so, we are not using them. A person would be better off just ordering the tumblers.

After 1-year of very light use, two cups have broken. One lid does not fit properly and easily comes off. On another cup, the seal between the inner and outer walls has been pierced which allows moisture. While the cups have a lifetime warranty, the lids do not, so am out of luck on that. In order to claim warranty, you have to fill out a form and ship the item back to American Tumbler - cost for shipping is about the same as the cup is worth. I realize Tervis tumblers are expensive, but they are top quality. Would not purchase these again.

I grew up with and really like the Tervis Tumblers but decided to give these a shot since they had great ratings and were significantly cheaper. Other than the fact that I know the bottom is slightly different from seeing them side by side, they are virtually indistinguishable. They make great dining room glasses since they are light and durable but don't look or feel cheap like most plastic cups.

The' re ok they don't sweat but the ice melts rapidly and your stuck with a warm drink

These tumblers are great. They are very solid and heavy duty. No condensation on even hot and muggy days. Have worked well in both the microwave and the dishwasher. I have the 16 oz size, but wish I could get the larger size in the clear plastic with no pictures or designs as well.
