Fantastic product at a great price
For the price, I wasn't expecting much, but this bit holder is easily worth twice what I paid for it. I have several other bit holders, and I really like the solid, classic feel of this one. It isn't particularly ergonomic in terms of having a fancy soft grip or whatever, but it's comfortable enough and just works. The magnet is very strong, and the bits are held securely with no wiggle. Reading other reviews, it appears there might be some quality control issues, which I suppose isn't surprising at this price. I can't speak to the frequency of those quality escapes, but I know the tool I received is excellent. It's much more than I expected for less than seven dollars.

You can pay more, but why?
I'm seeing quarter inch magnetic bit holders for double, triple, and even quadruple the price of this one, but all something like this needs to do is hold a quarter inch bit and fit in your hand. It does that, and for under $7. You're going to get a full grip on the handle and get good torque out of it. It's otherwise as solidly built as a metal tube and acetate handle are going to get. There just isn't a need for anything more in a tool like this, so what you appear to be paying for from this thing's competitors are brand name vanity and arbitrary upcharge. I say go with something like this instead. Does the job, inexpensively.

GREAT, GREAT, GREAT !!!
I just got this CRESCENT BRAND MAGNETIC TIP SCREWDRIVER in 1/4" Tip. It's shorter than most Screwdrivers of this type and that is why it's so good. With it I can get into places I couldn't get into with my other Screwdrivers. It has a very strong magnetic tip that holds onto all my tips and makes them magnetic. I got this Screwdriver to do work on my Computer Builds. It's just GREAT for those small jobs with small screws that need to stay onto the tips to get started. It works on small jobs and large ones to. The grip is so very solid and easy to use, you really can get a good grip with it.Overall I give it a TEN and just love it. Buy It !!!

Good stuff.
Plain and simple. I love it. Seems durable and it works great. The magnet holds the bits great. It's not strong enough to make the tips magnetic, though.Very handy old-school tool.

Outstanding tool
When I first got this driver I thought the bits did not fit in the shaft. It turns out Crescent appears to be the only company that makes a bit driver that will hold the bit securely. All of my bits fit snugly into the tool. The magnet is nice and strong as well. With the bit in the handle the tool feels like a real screwdriver, not a tool with a bit in the end. This is an excellent tool; and at a reasonable price.

Great Product.
You can almost tell crescent didn't want to make this. A full set of "regular" screw drivers already serves this purpose, they're sturdy, grippy, and can handle a bit of torque. So when Crescent set about making an interchangeable bit driver, it's clear they wanted to replicate all those features. And they did. It's nice to hold something in the hand that has a bit of craftsmanship. I have probably too many bit drivers, but I'll go out of my way to use this one. I saw a video above claiming it's not magnetic--mine definitely is. And it's... a nice tool.

Good, affordable screwdriver replacement
Sorry for the late review. This is a great replacement for any of those tool kits that has a cheapie screwdriver extension. Amazing if you loose the tool kit one, what do you do? Well simply buy this one and it's compatible with most (any) tool kit that has screwdriver bits and such. Worth the money and less aggravation. Fits most standard bits and is more secure too (than my previous one thst came with the kit).

Good driver for the price / Just make sure the driver is indeed magnitized
The first thing I checked is to make sure the driver is magnitized and can hold the bit. It did. There were some reviews that said the driver was not magnitized and could not hold a bit. I got lucky my driver worked. Otherwise, the handel is comfortable and the driver is very stout for automotive use. There is no "slosh" when the bit is in the driver. The bit feels firm as the driver is turned in use. Note: the magnitize bit is not strong enough to hold a screw.
