This is the PERFECT go to thermometer. Great for when I'm cooking different proteins and don't want to cross contaminate anything (I also have the ThermoWorks ThermoPop Super-Fast Thermometer). It's perfectly compact, and fits easily into your chef coast sleeve or apron. Pretty cool too because you don't even have to turn it off! It turns itself off when you put it back in the case! One less thing for me to worry about, and one less battery for me to drain. It is also reads INSANELY fast. I mean, the title would obviously tell you that, but I'm talking 1 to 2 seconds fast. It's incredibly accurate though too. Amazing. I like it too because it has a thinner needle than most thermometers so when I'm worried about a lean piece of protein drying out because I've punctured it too many times, I know the holes will be small and very easy on the meat. If you only can have one Thermometer in you pantry, this is the one! Smart design, and easy to read display. You will never need for another thermometer! I am SOOOO impressed with ThermoWorks and recommend them to everyone!

I purchased this product because I wanted something that would read quickly. It does!I also notice that you only need to insert the tip of the thermometer into the food and it will still give you an accurate reading. With my old thermometer I had to insert most of the thermometer shaft into the food.After I got this handy thermometer, I realized I could use it for checking the temperature of my tea for the ideal brewing temperature (hint: it really does make a difference if you brew it at the ideal temperature!).I also like the cover, and the cover stays on even when the thermometer is getting tossed around in your kitchen drawer.I would buy this product all over again.

Debated for quite sometime on what thermometer to buy for BBQ cooking! I had read a lot of reviews and almost spent more money for the other thermometer from therm o-works, but in the end I decided on this one as it was less money and still made by a good company! I am not sorry at all that I picked this one! It works just as described, it is quick and accurate! The only thing that I can add is it is a bit hard to read the display, but I just use a small flashlight and it works fine, or in brighter light it is easier to read! I would definitely recommend this thermometer to anyone who wants to get a better temp. reader without spending too much!

It has worked great for me as a recreational BBQer. I make bacon and sausage as well as smoked meat and poultry. it reads 32° in ice water and 209 in boiling water. The boiling water temp could be due to elevation above sea level, or not. Close enough for my needs, I just want my pork and poultry to be safe to eat and red meat to be cooked properly, not in any cooking competions or anything. The probe is thin and doesn't put big holes in the meat. I would buy this product again and recommend it to anyone that smokes meat.

Having gone through a ton of department store cheapie thermometers, I wanted to purchase a good quality one. Unfortunately I cannot afford Thermoworks $99 full sized model so I got this one, and hoped for the best.I am very pleased with this little tool. If will not work about 300 degrees F so keep that in mind if you are wanting to check oil or candy making but for temping meats and such this works great.I mainly bought it for bread making and I no longer have issues with undercooked bread. YAY!

This ThermoWorks Thermometer is great. It gives a very quick reading for all of my cooking projects. It's much better and easier than the one I previously had with the long wire sticking out of the oven. This one is much more versatile, easier to store and is more portable. I have just ordered another one for a friend who borrowed mine and liked it tremendously. Also, the battery can be replaced in less than a minute by taking the top off.

This is a small but very fast and accurate pocket thermometer. I tested mine against all my other therms and this one was as much as 5 times faster and at least 1-2 degrees more accurate. I know this as one of my other therms is a laboratory grade model. The only thing I didn't like was that you are pretty much lead to believe, from the description, these are made in the USA or England. They are not....they are made in China.
