Great Result, Worked Quickly!
Delighted with how quickly this product helped my elderly kitty! Aged about 14-15 now, his appetite had fallen off drastically & his belly was distended. Vet seemed to think he was fine but to me, he appeared to be waddling like a 9-mo. pregnant woman whose baby has dropped down as far as possible before birth - very uncomfortable. The clincher was when I saw one very dry "clinker" drop out of him onto the floor as he walked away unawares, & I could see the rest of it still stuck inside, poor guy! This arrived quickly; I put just 4-5 drops in his pate (didn't want him to end up with diarrhea both because of the potential mess but also to avoid that possibly causing pressure & tummyache). OMG, though he's picky, he sniffed at the food & immediately ate a decent quantity, relaxed, slept hard, then went out to relieve himself & that pattern has continued since. Slow, steady, gentle & now there's bounce back in his step - no more moving in pain, thank you so much!

An essential part of my pets' remedies kit
I try to never be without this wonderful product. My chi's gut is rather sensitive, and Colon Rescue ALWAYS helps him get back to normal. The components are the same you would find in gut-balancing remedies for humans (and at least one of the ingredients--Slippery Elm I believe-- helps to treat colds as well, from what I read). My pet loves the taste, too, so that's a bonus. Will I buy again? I always buy it again.

Works great for cat bowl issues
Love this for my Maine coon cat who suffers with hairballs. Also great for diarrhea and constipation. He gets almost a full dropper 2-3x daily when this happens. Itry to give him 1 dropper regularly.. for prevention He tolerates it well. The only thing is the cost is so high (only 4 stars for that reason). The price just went up too & New bottle.. thought the wrong item came.

Helped my 16yo cat
I'm very thankful for this product. My 16yo (almost 17) female cat has struggled with hard bowel movements for about two years, so we started using generic benefiber in her food, and that helped. This was something my vet has always recommended for our older cats (always check with your own vet first, of course). But a couple of weeks ago my cat suddenly couldn't poop at all. It seemed completely stuck. By directive of the vet we increased the fiber significantly and multiple times a day. It didn't do much. Although it has helped long term, short term was useless. After about five days, and one vet visit saying we have to consider euthanasia, the vet said to pretty much do whatever I thought could help. Apparently the hard stool wasn't the problem at all. From old age, my cat lacks the strength in her abdominal walls to push the stool along. She was a petite 6 pound cat, and was down to 5 pounds. SKELETAL. She had become so weak that her little meow didn't have a sound when she would try to be heard. I already use Animal Essentials brand for their "tinkle tonic" for my cat with urinary blocking problems (Totally worth it! Go to that product to see the review I left there.), so when I went to amazon searching for anything that might help and saw this brand offered something for the colon, I thought why not? I ordered it and amazingly received it the VERY next morning. Just getting it so quickly was a relief. Cats lose weight so fast! When I gave this to my cat, I noticed within minutes she was already slightly (very slightly) more energetic. I don't know what the calories are in it, but whatever sugar content/nutrients it has perked her up. For that alone I would recommend this to someone with a cat with hard stool/weak bowel problems who has stopped eating. I give this to my cat three times a day, and after the first day, she began to eat small amounts again. After two days, her meow returned. By day three she could scream her meow again lol. We are now one week later, using it three times a day and she has gotten her feistiness back, and her appetite is FULL force! She hurries away when I try to give her the medicine, she struggles, paws, squirms and fusses. She doesn't seem to mind the flavor, but she does NOT like having it administered to her. I just can't risk putting it on a plate for her to lick up and maybe not feeling like eating it that dose, so we administer it with a little dropper to be sure. She does still struggle a little with her bowel movements, but they aren't rock hard anymore and the struggle is definitely less. The stools are just normal firmness like our other cats. Her weight is VERY SLOWLY returning, which is to be expected because of her age. The upswing just lags on these things. I should also say, with her size, and her body and mouth are so tiny compared to my male cats, we can't use the full recommended dose. The bottle recommends .5ml dose, but her mouth is too small and I don't want her to choke, so we use .3 and it still works fine for us. Our vet is aware that we're using this Colon Rescue and they approve. You should always check with your vet with any type of medication or holistic regimen, but I have to say from my personal experience, this has been a life saver for us. I am so thankful! I already ordered a bigger bottle because my little kitty is doing so well on it. Awesome!

Helps my old kitty. Good quality item.
I have an older kitty who suffers with frequent constipation. Super frustrating as he is a picky eater and it's hard to get him to take anything to help with that (olive oil, salmon oil, etc.) I have bought this product many times. It helps him so much, and he doesn't mind the taste. Even though it is a little pricey, I highly recommend this tonic. I'm sure it has saved us many trips to the vet!

Not the best solution
I gave this to my cat for 3 days and it had very little effect. I was very hopeful but it wasn't the answer. He also disliked the flavor, so I had to add other things to get him to eat it Also, I found out after ordering, that one ingredient, Licorice, shouldn't be given for more than 2 weeks. So. If you're planning on giving this long term, you may want to check with an animal herbalist or your Veterinarian. I gave it 3 stars because it's a reasonable price cc compared to many others.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lifesaver for my dog’s bloody stool
My 9-year-old small dog suddenly had bloody stool after eating ground beef, and I was honestly freaking out. I came to Amazon looking for help and saw reviews about Colon Rescue, so I decided to overnight it and give it a try. I fasted him for about 24 hours, then the next morning I started with plain white rice and gave him about 5 drops of Colon Rescue. By the end of the same day, his stool was still a little soft, but the blood was completely gone. I’m so relieved and grateful I found this product. It really helped calm his system quickly.

Made my dog vomit
My dog was having some constipation that the usual things weren’t relieving. He was straining to go and only producing small amounts of stool. He was eating and drinking still, and passing gas, and the vet said I could wait on bringing him in, so I figured I’d give this a try. He threw up his dinner shortly after having this product. I could see the brownish color of the liquid in the vomit. This is going in the trash. I’m upset that I made him more sick with this stuff. He wasn’t puking before and thankfully seems fine but still constipated after expelling this stuff.

Wonderful aid for my cat with IBD. Using 5 drops of this daily along with an enzymatic supplement, I have been able to reduce the dosage of Prednisolone (steroid) from 5 tablets to 1/4 tablet per day. Highly recommend!
