Mi Electric Kettle EU, White

I was looking for a kettle with all-metal interiors and finally found this one. Added lots of photos here as there wasn't enough detail when I purchased it. Interior lid is also metal and opens fully. One thing I noticed is that there's a hole inside the kettle (by the lid joint). I'm not sure why it's there and seems like a liability for water to seep in, so do not overfill. The interior is made of a single piece of metal, no seams. However, after boiling the first time I noticed spots at the bottom of the pot (second last picture). There's no discernible odd taste but just an observation. The version I received came with an EU plug. The cord coils neatly around the base. One thing that I noticed was that the kettle does not sit flush with the base no matter if I rotated it around in multiple positions. There's a very slight overhang (maybe 2-3mm) as seen in one of the photos. Doesn't seem to affect performance as water boils just fine, but if you're OCD like me you'll notice it and wonder why. I'm just glad to find a kettle without any interior plastic parts. The lack of a see-through water level indicator doesn't bother me: not that much effort to just open the lid. The button feels robust and pops the lid open well. Overall it feels like a well-made product. So far so good on Day 2 of use. Hopefully it has longevity as well.

Is the best electric kettle i haver had! Is beautiful, minimal, clean design and works very well. I was very surprised to a brande like Xiaomi make a product like this, with such a great design. I had one design from Jasper Morrison, that he made for Rowenta, but is dead now, the plastic start deteriorating and compromised the quality of the water. This one is all inox inside, the finish is perfect the quality is suberb. For those like that looks for minimal and clean design this product is great.

Best kettle in 20~30 pound range. Great white modern style with full stainless steel interior, so no more plastic smell! And I did't expect it to hold heat pretty well. Can't believe that it is sold at about 10 pound back in China and trashed all 30 pound kettles in UK. Even it doubled the original price here it's still a great purchase.

It's probably the most beautiful kettle, most minimal. Comes with EU plug. After few months whitening/calcification showing up, but that's because of the water (even we filter it). No issues apart of that sometimes it's continue boiling few seconds after the water is boiled and keeps bubbling if you go near max line. Would def recommend looking for a nice, minimal design and NO plastic taste :)

Three weeks after purchasing this kettle wouldn't shut off at all. If you don't switch it off manually it would continuously boil. Had to return. Real shame though as the product is 100% stainless steel insight!

I'm in love with this kettle

I love this kettle however I didn’t spot the “EU” in the title and the fact that it has an EU plug isn’t mentioned anywhere in the description so I think that’s very misleading. If you can put EU in the title then you can put “note this has an EU not a UK plug” in there. I had to buy a decent adapter as the plug is also not the flat EU type. A bit annoying because otherwise the kettle is really nice and minimal.

Prosty czajnik dość solidnie wykonany. W tej cenie nie ma czego oczekiwać więcej. Przy przekroczeniu linii pojemności woda wylewa się przez otwór wew czajnika poza niego więc nie ma co przekraczać 1,5l. Czas gotowania wody w normie.

I've been using it well for more than 6 months. a good product.

Have this for almost a year now and no complaints yet. I use it daily. Not the fastest kettle though. But it gets the job done just fine.
