UTG one of the best budget scopes on the market.
I have been using the scope for quit a while and very impressed with it. After firing hundreds of rounds it has consistently stayed zeroed. The glass is really clear and it’s built rugged, In the past I have had the reticle come loose on cheaper scopes , but this one is spot on. I have it mounted on a AR-10 chambered in 308, so it’s taken a beating. The only issue I had early on is I forget to add a little blue lock tight and my mounting screws came loose and I had flyers all over the place, a little lock tight, tightend to proper specs and I am constantly hitting a 5 inch steel plate at two hundred yards, I am sold on UTG products because you get the best bang for the buck. It’s economical, rugged and accurate. I just wish the prices were not getting so high or I would outfit the rest of my ARs with this model. Bottom line it’s a good scope for the money, if you can find them and they are not sold out because of popularity Try one, you will be impressed!

Worth It.
Very nice hunting scope for the price point when on sale. Everything works as it should. Easy to adjust. Nice sunshade front shape. Nice and compact so it will work on any rifle. Comes with scope rings which is really nice. UTG scopes hold up well too. Very pleased with it.

Fantastic scope for the money
Took it shooting yesterday. Only took 6 rds to get it dialed in at 50 yards right out of the box!! The clarity outside in actual use was far better than what I thought while looking through it inside my house at night, from 3x all through 12x. The side parallax adjustment is great as well. I was able to ring steel at 200 with boring regularity, and it didn't seem to lose zero after 100 rounds of .308. Only complaint is that there is a little bit of distortion and the edges of the filed of view, but it's only noticeable if you intentionally look at the edges. The illuminated reticle uses a light that washes all over the inside of the scope, not just on the crosshairs, so that is a bit of an annoyance, but I don't forsee myself using the illuminated reticle. Just putting that out for those that will. The rings that come with the scope appear to be of phenomenal quality, every bit as good as the Warne rings I purchased for another rifle. There are 4 screws per ring that tighten around the tube, which I feel provides a far more secure mount. I wish the rings positioned it a hair higher, but overall I am extremely pleased with the performance of the scope. Even more so considering for my $113 delivered to my door, I got a set of rings that seem every bit as good as the last 30mm rings I got from Warne for another AR. I would say this would make a great scope for someone looking for a decent scope on a budget, especially considering it's a 30mm tube!!

Not just a good "budget" scope, This is a GOOD SCOPE!
Arrived when promised with my PRIME membership but that's always the case. Was packaged clever for a scope, wrapped tight to a piece of cardboard and then suspended within another box so that the scope could not make contact with the outside shipping container at all. Scope arrived close to center and was "perfectly" centered within a few minutes. Scope installed to my AR as easy as one could hope for any scope using the included scope rings, was also super easy to level. Cross-hairs are perfectly oriented once leveled. The cross-hairs are perfect as far as thickness without the illumination on and may be considered somewhat thick if using the highest brightness setting on most of the available illumination colors, but not thick enough to make it hard to put the hole wherever you want it. I only used the colors to try them and really have no plans for future use other than to maybe show others that they are available should they wish to use them when shooting my rifle. The brightness is VERY bright on the high setting and I really don't understand the reviews that say the brightness is very low or makes the colors hard to see. I think these reviews do not know how to properly use the product and do not have the brightness adjusted to the high setting. The brightness settings can take the colors from SUPER BRIGHT to BARELY NOTICEABLE, you'll have no problem seeing the illumination on any of the colors if you adjust the brightness correctly, which is done with a button click. The clarity of this scope is OUTSTANDING for a scope of this price, You'll not find ANYTHING clearer OR even AS clear as this scope for this price, Save yourself the time and don't even try. My father and I spent a good hour trying to come up with a BAD thing to say about the picture or clarity of this scope and we could NOT. Even the edges if the picture is GREAT. Zeroing this thing was a freaking dream, honestly one of the easiest scopes I've ever zeroed. I used no bore sight, I centered the scope, installed it level and took to the range. Using bags only this was zeroed to 100 yards in 6 shots. It took 6 shots only because I always do followup shots before making adjustments to make sure there was no shooter error and the shots are consistent. After zeroed I used the locking feature and have since put 1,500 rounds through the rifle with ZERO adjustments, Can still hit a US-quarter at 100 yards dead center. This isn't just a good "budget" scope, this is a GOOD SCOPE!

Terrific value
The only thing I would change about this scope would be to not to have 36 colors in the illumintated reticule, 3 would be more than enough. The scope is well worth 250$ IMO for all that is included, locking turrets 3x12 power, very good clear glass, an all the other things that really add up to terrific value. My favorite thing is the compact size, I put this on a marlin model 60 that was just delivered the day before the scope was. Ya seems silly to have 3x12 on a 22lr, but wow. Since the scope is only 10.3 inchs long it looks great sitting there where as a full size scope would not. I mounted it in a 100mm block type set of 30 mm rings an its rock solid. Quick sightin an right to tackin 4" targets from 50yds to 130yds (couldnt see walkin any further out to set up more targets thru 20 inchs of damn snow - Michigan) Run the scope thru the square drill an walked it up thru elevation drill an it maintain accuracy just same as my S+B full size scopes. Yes I am going to buy another one of these scopes, have a Tavor 5.56 arriving soon an this scope would sit nicely on that little bullpup. Edit Its now 4/29/14 I have had this little gem of a scope on several different rifles, two 22 caliber plinkers, a Tavor 5.56 an the last a Remington R25 243. The scope has been perfect on each an every rifle. Has held zero every time its been moved. The move from the 5.56 to the 243 was strange in that after it was mounted on the 243 the scope was only 1/2 inch off to the right of dead on, on the very first shot at 100 yds. I'm still very happy with this scope, I have bought 2 more to put on my other 22lr plinkers. All told I have shot around 1800 rounds thru rifles with this scope model attached out to a range of 420 yds an the scope has been perfect. I have looked at targets at 500 an 600 yds but at least to me an my eyes the range most useful to me is the 400 yds that limit my self to using this scope.

Definitely a Boat Anchor but.....
I'll start off by saying i have no experience with Rifle Scopes. I've mainly been a pistol shooter, and bought my first Carbine about 2yrs ago. Started off with Irons on that rifle (worked good), then moved to a red dot (worked good), but I wanted to up my game, and be able to shoot at further distances than 100yds. Not to mention, I'm currently building and SBR, and the Red Dot would be the perfect optic for that build. When i started researching optics, i quickly found out that these things can be more expensive than the gun itself. I came across a good internet article that listed this particular scope, as a great budget scope option. I'm not a competition shooter, and I also wont be hunting with this rifle. This is solely for shooting at the range. So the package finally arrived, i removed my Red Dot, and I had to remove my Mbus iron from the rear. I didn't purchase the higher mounts, and this scope wouldn't fit, while allowing the Irons to stay on. I'll probably address that later on, and get the higher mount. So i started off with the Scope too far forward on my rail. I installed it like that, because with the lower mounts, it's kind of difficult to charge the rifle. I couldn't get my eye lined up good, so I slid the scope to the rear, and was able to see clearly. It probably took me about 30 rounds to get this thing Zeroed in. I wasn't using a shooting block, which definitely wasn't helping my situation out. I was resting my hand-guard on my Ammo Box, I would recommend that you use a proper shooting block when sighting in. Anyhow I got to the point where, i was hitting the center of the target and that was good enough for me. I did this on the 100yd range, took a few shots at 200yd and 300yd as well. I've never shot long distances, and the view was incredible. I found the scope to be easily adjustable. Lastly, i went over to the 50yd range, and laid down the most accurate shots i've ever put down with my rifle. I was shooting dead center, and I believe my groups were less than an inch. I dont know anything about groups etc.. but i do know that I'm shooting extremely accurate now. I was shooting clays on the 50yd range as well, and hitting dead center. The only downside is, this scope is heavy. I definitely feel like this turned my rifle into a bench gun, which for me is fine, as I'm building a more "tactical" SBR that i can maneuver around with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a scope and not wanting to pay $600.

Greatly Surprised
I bought this about 6 months ago and mounted it on my ranch rifle which is an Armalite AR10. If you want to test how durable something is, use it on a ranch. Your stuff just gets beat up. My reasoning was, since I have the high probability of banging a scope up, I would rather it be a $100 scope rather than one of my $400 to $500 ones. Plus I wanted to have a lighted reticle. I was kind of hesitant because of the mixed reviews, but I got it anyway. One of the first things I noticed right out of the box is this thing does have some weight to it. The mounting rings that it comes with are pretty solid and built well. As with any scope, you must mount it properly for it to work well. That means level your rifle, put the rings on, put on the scope and make sure it is level also. After getting it zeroed and began to fire at different distances, I started to really love it. The mildots make aiming at various distances easy. To really take advantage of the mildots, you must get to know your ammunition; such as velocity and trajectory. I can hit targets out to 600 meters without touching the turrets. I could probably do further, but I don't have that much straight-away at my place. It holds zero without any doubt. The reticle light works well too, however, I don't really think it was necessary to have 36 colors. Its usually just red or green for me. Being able to adjust brightness of it is a plus also. Many hogs and coyotes dropped using it. So to finish, yes I would recommend this to anyone who wants to have a good not-so-expensive frequent use scope. I've had no problems with it. Don't listen to the ones who say that these are junk. They aren't. If it was junk, I would have sent it back. Those people most likely don't know how to follow instructions, or are self proclaimed 'experts'. For those that say you cannot use MOA turrets with mildots, that's a bunch of bs. Learn your scope and ammunition and you won't have problems.

The reticle is much better than ad shows, Great scope coming from a veteran PCP airgunner
Don't be discouraged by the cluttered reticle shown as an example in the pictures for the ad. it's a legitimate mil dot reticle. Neat stadia line with reasonable sized mil dots. Not giant closely bundled dots. The turret locking system is impressive, unscrew the locks, you can adjust the resistance on the clicks, all the way its smooth, audible and fast, half way (where i like it) is still smooth, but not so fast you'll give extra clicks. very tactile and nice. The Glass is surprisingly good. The Parallax is from 10-12-15-20-25-30-35-50-100++++ LOVE it. i don't care so much about the illumination, but it does work very well. I'm a fan of the scope. Holds zero well. For an airgun this gets the definite go-ahead from me.

Klare Empfehlung.

Great Tactical Scope
So far it works very well, keeping 1 inch groups with the AR 223. It really adds to the tactical look of the Black Forge platform. Raising eyebrows at the range. Can't wait to put together some reloads and get back to the front line.

OTTIMO RAPPORTO QUALITA' PREZZO
