Sew Slip SEWSLIP2 Multi-Purpose Quilting Sheet with Rectangular Hole, 12 by 18-Inch

It arrived earlier than expected. It works very well. Delighted with it.

This is just as versatile for free motion quilting as the well known brand - but at an affordable price. I have both and I struggle to find any difference - they both work well to slide your fabric around. I prefer the larger square hole on the Sewslip as I can view how much thread is left in my bobbin. I agree with other comments regarding the packaging, which is a little flimsy, but I guess this is to keep postage costs down as it comes from USA. A great product for textile artists and quilters.

This is a great product as l already have one on another machine. However this one arrived in a poly bag all the way from the States and was crushed and damaged. The edges were very buckled and would not lie flat. The seller refunded with good grace.

I tried to work with this produce but found I get on better without it, sorry.

I am new to free motion quilting and “drawing” with my sewing machine and having struggled a bit with fabric catching on the machine, or not sliding as much as I would have liked, the addition of this quilting sheet has made a world of difference. It adheres to the machine, without sliding out of place, and its surface allows the fabric to be freely moved around when I am sewing. In addition, there is a rectangular hole in the sheet to allow for the feed dogs to be raised if so wished.

So impressed with the speedy delivery of the Sewslip Quilting Sheet II. I purchased the sheet on 27 November and was expecting delivery at the end of December beginning of January but arrived this morning 7 December. Very well packed. The sewslip is ideal to place over my perspex extension table and sewing machine. Adheres very well but can be easily removed if needed. Gives a good slip base for quilting and moving fabric easily along. A rectangle cut out to allow dog feeds and needle to sew. Well worth the purchase. Very happy. Would recommend.

Being a larger size than my previous one makes quilting easier to slide.

Haven't tried the REAL thing but this sheet was no more slidey than my actual varnished table.
