Knock-Down MDF 0.04 ft179; Micro Bookshelf Speaker Cabinet Pair

If you ever decide to build your first set of small bookshelf speakers and don't have tons of tools this is the only way to get it done with a professional look. Very easy to put together with wood glue, clamps, or masking tape as I did.Just add good speakers, binding posts, wire, and a finishing. Thanks to Parts Express for the video tutorial.

FYI, a similar sized MDF box with laminate can be bought for around the same price.. they are "near and dear pet memorials" mdf boxes. Not as sturdy as this MDF, but it's pretty decent as an alternative to 'try out' a similar design of about the same box fill.

Solidly built..perhaps a bit thicker than need be..easily assembled with glue (go easy on the glue and you will be glad you did)But it is really an oversized computer speaker than book shelves ..it would most likely accept a speaker no bigger than 3 inches
