I wish I could love this more
When I saw how thin the comic was I was already worried. The art isn't bad, the anatomy is mostly good, there's an angle here or there that's slightly awkward but that can be glossed over, the coloring is well done. This part I'm ok with.It follows the plot of the first Vladimir Tod novel so there's not much change there. The story is very interesting and it keeps you turning the pages wanting to see what'll happen to Vlad next. I can't say anything bad about to story, it's a great story, and anyone into vampires should give it a good read [personally I'd suggest the novel version].My biggest issue with this, which brought the star rating so far down, is it feels like we rushed through the whole book. It just seems like they're not pacing it at all, there's no buildup to the conflict it just sort of happens, like we're going along and figuring things out and then boom bad guy, boom resolution, flip to the end cover. It's disappointing to see that done to a story that could have been a great comic. Like this is the type of story that was born to be told through comic format, it might have even been better than the novel IF WE PACED THE SCENES OUT RIGHT.I'm just so disappointed in how this was handled.

Just what I ordered. Exactly as pictured
Ordered for my 13 yr old who hates to read but needs AR points. It is an AR approved book with an existing test. Great for both of us.

The case of the mystery man.
I like it because it was telling a mystery who was that man who killed Vildmar's parents at telling why.

Dissapointed
I LOVE these books butHonestly not very good art. I was expecting more but it looks like the drawing in a healthbook. If I could get my money back I would. Its not worth 10 bucks.
