Other than watches that use a battery and depend upon the atomic clock or a battery, this watch is the most accurate in the world. While it might not have the cache' of the Rolex or the Omega and a few much more expensive watches, this watch is beautifully crafted; requires no battery, is self winding and has a 70 hour power reserve. If one ever was marooned upon an island, this watch would go on working properly, indefinately. The snowflake pattern on the watch face is beautiful. Swjiss and German Watches may be among those in greatest demand for luxury time pieces. However, the Grand Seiko, now a brand unto itself, has the movement and something called a Spring Drive which ensures that it does not go to fast or too slow and that it does not gain or lose more than 15 seconds in an entire month. Some of the watches do better than that. At the end of an entire year with only a man made movement and no quartz or batteries, one would only have to adjust the time to perfection by a couple of minutes. Now that is accuracy. The Grand Seiko Company is clearly taking its place among luxury watches with most at a price that is actually obtainable by most people (who are willing to save up for a lifetime time piece that is also exceptionally beautiful in all details.)

Good seller no problem at all

After looking at the reviews now I’m actually holding it I have mixed views. The overall looks and finish are to perfection especially the dial. It is not a flashy watch, only understated by the name ie ( is not a Rolex or Omega )in my opinion. I’ve had this watch for about month and time accuracy is excellent. It’s got a spring dive movement you will have to look it up for a explanation. The only negative is the weight, is light it’s made of titanium (100 grams) I would have preferred a heavier watch but I’m sure I will get used to it. If your importing to the UK don’t make the mistake I made, it will cost more £1000 more just remember you will have pay customs.

The Grand Seiko Snowflake is an extraordinary watch, but buying it from Luxor is risky since they don't provide a warranty. Buy the watch, but look for another seller.
