E-light is born from Kep Italia's ongoing pursuit of excellence and innovation. In spite of the fact that there are already some of the lightest helmets on the market, Grumello’s Company wanted to go further: to create a helmet, whose weight is less than 400 g. E-light, in fact, weighs only 396 g, thanks to its full carbon shell, handcrafted through the process of autoclaving so as to handle the minimum aesthetic details. Autoclaving is a long and complex process. Specialised artisans stratify the carbon wefts by hand for excellent results in terms of quality and high mechanical resistance, making the shell lightweight but equally resistant and thus achieving greater protection despite the final lightness of the helmet. E-light is undoubtedly the lightest helmet on the market today, but it is also among the safest in the world. The Naked model, in a glossy or opaque version, is free from any other insert, in order to enhance the carbon texture even further. The 2 or 3 insert models vary between matt or glossy shells and black, green or burgundy details to suit the tastes of each knight. Made with carbon shell painted opaque transparent in black colour, opaque nylon visor equipped with a black strap made with soft eco-leather antiallergenic, washable and water resistant, equipped with nickel-free rivets not in direct contact with the skin.
