GIBS Grooming Black Kodiak Beard Balm Aid, 2 oz

Now that my beard has gotten longer, I've needed a good balm to keep it somewhat tamed during the work day and this one absolutely hits the mark! Great smell and a good lasting hold!

Love the scent. Not greasy. My husband buys this at least once a month and it’s the only one he buys!

I live in New Mexico and it's HOT down here! My package was left in the mailbox and when I got home I grabbed the package and went inside. All excited for my new bottle/container of beard balm I opened it to smell the awesome smell and splat all over the floor and my shirt. In the heat it liquefied and was a oil instead of it's usual hard cream texture. I love the product but sadly I have to buy a new one now since it's all over the floor. House smells great though... Beware the heat!!

Wether I’m going clean shaven or looking like wolverines goofy cousin, I use this on my eye brows for a light, non-sticky hold or my beard when it’s more than a week in.

Smells great, though a bit more subtle than my other gibs products. Also a bit more solid than what I would like

This stuff is great! Tried a few other brands and I keep returning Gibs. This breakdowns fast in your fingers and goes on nicely. Brushes or combs through evenly and keeps my beard smooth and controlled all day. Business manager by day and this balm keeps me looking professional. On work days it's Gibs beard oil fresh out of the shower then the beard balm before going out the door. Still smells good at quiting time and doesn't lose its hold on my beard. It's not stiff whatsoever but leaves your beard soft and controlled. I'm not sure why others hate the smell I enjoy the aroma, especially at those stressful moments on the job. A quick whiff revitalizes the day and keeps me from blowing my top. I'll continue using, thanks Gibs!

I love this balm and I use it every day. It isn't too wax-like that it pastes down your mustache and beard like other balms that I have used. The balm is white and granular, but they disappear as you rub it into your beard. As previously mentioned, it does smell quite strongly of chocolate but it does dissipate as the day goes on and I have never gotten any complaints from my girlfriend. Paired with a wood beard comb, daily use keeps your beard moisturized, frizz free, tangle free, soft, shiny, manageable, and over-all looking better. Now I never get any complaints about a rough beard when snuggling.

Cerchiamo di fare una recensione completa: Partendo dalla base "Balsamo da Barba - Cognac Nero" Pratico barattolo di plastica (pare resistente[...ma a che serve la resistenza... alla fine è materiale da bagno]) con degli adesivi recanti ingredienti e quant'altro. PROFUMAZIONE E qui si inizia a doversi sedere con calma e parlarne. Dunque, uno acquista un prodotto Black Cognac immaginandosi, giustamente, una profumazione secca, alcolica, ...di cognac... invece, questo "Black Cognac" una profumazione così, manco col cannocchiale l'ha vista passare. Quindi... NO, non sa di Cognac. Ma allora fa schifo? Eh... NO anche qui. Sebbene ci si possa sentire in disappunto per la profumazione "truffaldina", il suo profumo è forte, virile, mascolino, legnoso, mi ricorda molto il Proraso Rosso (sandalo e altri oli). Una profumazione che decisamente si fa sentire molto a lungo. BALSAMO Anche qui, uno si aspetterebbe il solito balsamo "denso" stile cera per baffi (ma malleabile), invece, all'aspetto è una crema morbida fatta a grumi. Dovrete quindi stare attenti a non affondare troppo e prelevarne troppo. Ad ogni modo, come tutti i balsami da barba, una volta sfregato fra le mani diventa liquido e trasparente che si applica facilmente. Ammorbidisce e dona lucentezza, profuma e facile da usare. _________________________________________________ Quindi... Try it. This is the best I’ve tried. Replaces the oil and balm. Greasy when you run it through your hand but when it goes in your beard the balm leaves a great sent and no grease residue. Absolutly will buy again and again
